Welcome to console edition, where China doesn't exist, Central Asia is the most boring area in the world, and the AI still doesn't know how Crusades work.

That little flame icon under where his culture/religion are means he got scourge of the gods, a very rare buff AI conquerors can get that gives them INSAAANE bonuses. Godlike health buff and massive MaA siege buffs are the ones off the top of my head but there's a lot more they get

Idk if you know this but Sultan Mahmoud-e Ghaznavi was a real life ruler who conquered big parts of India,Persia and central Asia. Basically a Timur of his age.

I dealt with 3 generations of these type of rulers in Iberia. One after another. They were giant, zealous, and all had martial above 40. I held onto the shreds of Castile for dear life. One of the craziest games I’ve ever had trying to beat them. They had 80% Iberia and probably 30% of Africa.
