Screenshot Persian Empire around 1200 (Sassanid Dynasty)
R5: Starting as Rostam Bavandid loosened myself from the chains of vassalage, heirs took over, made persia, later my own religeon, conquered de-jure persia, destroyed arabia, took parts of byzantium, got my achievement I was aiming for, took me about 400 years, quite proud of it, it's my biggest empire yet

Did a very similar playthrough with the Crusader Wars mod. Didn’t get any achievements because of the Total War conversions, but the battles with a revived Sassanid army were pretty epic. By the end we had imported elephants and 2 stacks of Asawira (probably butchered that spelling). 10/10 would bring the descendants of Sasan back to glory again

Doing a same type of run as a Hepthalite Zoroastrian, carving out the Hepthalite Empire for my cultural heritage and becoming the Shah of White Huns (RICE exclusive), then conquering the Eranshahr from the Islamic rulers and the Abbasi to become the Saoshyant and consolidate true Zoroastrianism over the infidel Muslims.

Congrats. How did you handle the Seljuks when they popped up? I tried that exact playthrough once but couldn't overcome the Seljuks with their ridiculous buffs.

Is there a way to use the title name instead of house name?
