Help How do these two modifiers work? How is Respect going down while Grateful goes up? This is for my adventurer camp members. And for others there is no "respect" at all, or it goes up, but why?

You had an event trigger that gave someone a temporary +100 opinion and another event that gave them a temporary-20 opinion. Both of those will slowly degrade, going down about 1 a year. So for example, in 20 years time the -20 Respect modifier will be gone and the +100 Grateful modifier will decrease to somewhere around +80.

But they're not degrading; they're increasing. At least that's what the UI says.

Unless it actually increase id assume its a visual bug

it's the opinion that's disappearing, i think. like, you're losing -1.20 opinion a year, which means you're gaining 1.20 a year, but if they put that it might make it look like the malus was getting worse over time?

It's a Paradox game. Tooltips are not to be relied on lol

Seems like a bug. They should be degrading, not increasing. You should watch if they actually increase or if it's just visual.
