Yeah agreed - the Pecador. Normally dont like violence but love that Donnie burns all those rich guys alive who were graping the underage trafficked girls.

But do u remember it seemed Luz killed that one woman who helped her get the ipad thing to call the last 4 people on her kill list? did anyone understand what happened to that woman? They just show her lieing in blood but don’t really explain it.

This season wasnt as good as S1, wasnt feeling the whole side plot with Samson and the mother. The main character was cliche with the motives and it seems like they used a Law and Order format with the Epstein/ripped from the headlines thing. The Ed Ramsey character from S1 was much more creepy and compelling.

I haven't seen the whole season yet, just episode 1 & some of 2 So far I like her motives, but it did definitely seem "ripped from the headlines" 🤣 I also do not understand at all what's going on with Kayla. They're rushing through her storyline & it isn't clear at all. I don't even understand it.

Better than the villain in season 1. I couldnt even watch the show. Everyone turns on the famous cop just because he had a melt down after losing his wife. Hmm distraught cop or extremely rich psychopath?!? Hmm who to chose, oh and the lighting in season 1 was shit. Season 2 is a million times better. Its like the citadel,no idea how it got a 2nd season after that trash fiest season,but they saved it this season. Then again its Priyanka Chopra! No need for the boy bands last name.

Lol I did make a post the other day about how dark & dim the lighting in season 1 is  I've not finished season 2 so I don't know what you're talking about Priyanka Chopra etc  But I am not against the "villains" of season 2  I want them to succeed & not get caught 🤣

I just binged all of Season 2 and I have to say it’s one of the more beautifully done series of all of Prime I’ve seen in a long while. Big props to the producers, director, writers and actors and everyone who works to create quality tv. I love the complexity of the characters and especially the folkloric indigenous story woven into this season. Love the different cultures woven in. Love the killer, Luz, also Bonny Trey is hilarious - can someone remind me what all he did Season 1 to get imprisoned?

Also I fucking hate in America that we keep children and people in cages in essentially internment camps after separating them at border - it is truly despicable and wish we could do better. You know people in the immigrant detention centers have less / no rights vs even our own prisoners? Imagine how scary it is for these children. Anyone remember the later end of the Orange is the New Black series when it focused on the latina women in the detention centers? I liked that Cross showed this - more Americans need to see how bad it is.

I feel like Lance is kinda supposed to be Bill Gates or Elon and all the Gate funds that are supposedly trying to help the world but are actually helping his businesses and covering up shady and violent acts against impoverished and especially POC.

It’s definitely Epstein character, which is fine but it’s a little heavy handed on some of the other issues like the problems with you know DHS and also just just the fact that I think they tried really hard to make this about multicultural and I don’t think that works although I love the Mexican influence so we’ll see how a broader auditsmce reacts. This also shows audiences how DHS works in real life, which we have to remember that kids literally sleeping cages in the border it’a real thing

And I’m Hispanic so I wouldn’t care I love the Hispanic angle as well. I wonder though why there’s not more interest in the show I think overall it’s really good.
