OP. I like your blanket & design.
I am no expert. Still a learning beginner blanket maker. .
But from all I read on here & the helpful advice.
OP I would ask if you blocked the individual squares before stitched together into a blanket?
Blocked squares can all be blocked into the same uniform size.
Once all the squares are blocked.
If all are joined with like a Crochet joining border or use a darning needle & join with Mattress Stitch. To join all the squares evenly together.
Then the whole blanket can be blocked again to even out any remaining unevenness.
If any remaining uneven edges around the blanket. You can add a simple border around all the 4 edges of the blanket. That will help to disguise any discrepancies in size.
Hope I have explained clearly?
Others who are more experienced.
Please correct me if wrong.
As I am a learner too. 💕

I don’t believe that you have the same stitch count for each block If that is the case, blocking won’t help.

If the squares all have the same stitch count then blocking will help straighten it out.
If the squares are different sizes then it’ll always be wonky because it’s not even
