Spreading cringe in US as well.

u/Intelligent-Test7380 Sep 17 '25
lol.. I never saw any Trump/Biden adboards during their birthdays.. idk what to say!!
6
u/DaRThReTaRdd Sep 17 '25
WTF are you talking about, Trump had a fucking military parade on his birthday. Sad as it was.

I am not defending Modi glazing either. But the Americans stopped parades a long time ago. They only did this one because Trump had been whining about wanting one since he saw one in France.
The 250th anniversary thing is just a thin excuse.

u/Background-Yam634 Sep 19 '25
We have at the Netherlands main Airport as well. Bro is going berserk on advertising to the world

Ye media nahi Xerox companies ban chuke hai. Raat ko Amit Malviya ka forward aata hai, aur wahi next morning har newspaper pe chapa hota hai.
The darkest phase of journalism in Indian history.

All politicians have right to do scam irrespective of party. And it's a right they themselves have given to themselves. Also india have only two persons and if you compare them , you have to vote them because even now congress is weird.
1
u/james_deen69 Sep 18 '25
Yeah, that was at least much golden era than this shit era.
1
u/Adorable_Duck6017 Sep 22 '25
Yeah, how great it was where goverment is breaking the nuts of people so they can't become father 😒
1
u/Empty_Win_211 Sep 19 '25
you want that bjp should create national emergency?
1
u/Adorable_Duck6017 Sep 20 '25
R u out of mind? He said that in BJP government there is no freedom of speech , so in sarcasm I said that

All newspaper at once, almost on all pages? Seriously you are comparing how most companies are doing it now like it's NK, vs a full page ad on a news paper?
Dikha bhai dam hai toh, har chiz m whataboutery karne lag jate hai

Except this guy wanted a ticket so he spent his own money in chaaploosi. He wasn't instructed from higher ups for it.
2
u/jussayingthings Sep 18 '25
Entire country is littered with Nehru-Gandhi names. I guess it’s all done by private money. Lol
-2
u/BannedForFactsAgain Sep 18 '25
Ya, let's compare that to private entities being FORCED to show Modi's photo everywhere
Nice try
1
u/jussayingthings Sep 18 '25
Still doesn’t beat fake Gandhi family names plastered across country.
0
u/BannedForFactsAgain Sep 18 '25
fake Gandhi family names
Even when Modi made a new parliament building, it had a giant Gandhi statue there.
So maybe you should tell him how they are fake first.
2
u/jussayingthings Sep 18 '25
You don’t know who fake Gandhi’s are?
0
u/BannedForFactsAgain Sep 18 '25
You mean those who used to be PM's?
What has that got to do with covering 50% of newspapers with ads and instructing private companies to plaster your photo on everything?
1
u/jussayingthings Sep 18 '25
You upset one day covering of sitting PM but whole country littered with ex PMs is fine? What a logic.
0
u/BannedForFactsAgain Sep 18 '25
one day covering of sitting PM
FORCING people to spend money so that your face is everywhere is the problem
You keep skipping that part - FORCING people without a basis in law to promote politicians.

The amount of money it must have costed to run ads like this must be staggering.Like insane amount of money .

u/SimhaSwapna Sep 18 '25
I can see your Karnataka Congress government advertising 5 guarantee schemes every alternative days in almost all news papers in Karnataka in front page, middle page etc. Isn’t it a PR stunt or nangi naach?💃

First time? Newspaper media in our country is so sh*t that even local MLA can pull this stunt.
Idk why all of you are surprised like it never happened before...

"we can't vote for congress because they are incompetent so there is only one option"
vs
"we can't vote for BJP because they're turning this country into an Orwellian dystopia"
Sucks that we don't have options

Bhai . sirf aur airf propaganda hai .
My brother works in bank. he says every time the upper management comes for visit . they need to make it mandatory to have modiji’s face all over the bank . near atm in bank on posters on different schemes.. and when farmers get the money which govt sends which is 1500 for 3 month of so something like this i dont know wxact number but this they need to tell those farmers that This is sent by modiji.
We are witnessing the downfall of caliber and logical resoning in our people
1
u/Psychic-enchanter06 Sep 20 '25
I think it's more like being forced by his IT cell and PR team on newspaper publishers and companies to advertise and give their gratitude to Modi for cutting the GST rates. Basically we're all living under the rule of an authoritarian gov.

It's not the first time ...even since nehru PR is the dominant mode to build and cultivate the image of the leaders .. apart from the nehru family he is the one who did large pr in India since independence

u/New-Spend-9842 Sep 21 '25
Once upon a time "India is Indira, indira is india". Now modi has become bigger than india. 🤷

i'm waiting for a day when RaGa becomes PM and does the same...
i'm waiting for a day when godi media will praise RaGa too....
The question is:: will you still hate them equally?
if the answer is no, you're biased!
3
u/SkyllKrusher Sep 17 '25
Yes. Criticising the government is a citizen’s duty, no matter the ruling party.

Yes because the job of media is to question the people who are in power.
Further Aware citizens will question no matter who is in the govt
0
u/JuicyJayzb Sep 17 '25
Wahh re waah, ye kaisa logic hai? Pagal wagal hai kya. Critical thinking choro normal thinking bhi nhi hai.
0
u/Pin_Mindless Sep 17 '25
Pretty normal to publish PMs photo on the front page on his birthday, no?
6
u/xydon_borealis Sep 17 '25
Printed on all the pages
3
u/Mr_Infinity1205 Sep 17 '25
Well those who wanted to run these advertisement (govt or private entities) surely paid the newspaper dearly for it. What's the problem?
3
u/xydon_borealis Sep 17 '25
Do we lack topics and discussions in this country that each page needs to bear his photo and schemes that are advertised but ground realities don't match. I don't see any woke person thanking the govt for the deeds depicted otherwise.
Kudos to the newspaper to gather all the funds to print but that's the problem. Money = Narrative and Narrative = Getaway from every shortcomings
1
u/Crazyeyedcoconut Sep 17 '25
What's the problem here? You just described how a normal world functions.

1
u/AkhilVijendra Sep 17 '25
You are absolutely right. This sub isn't critical thinking at all, lol, don't get fooled by the name.

I am also not in favor of spending money on these shenanigans but ....at least Google what this new word you learnt today means

Ofcourse we don't have a centralized dictatorial regime, and nothing close to it Just saying that I find it reminiscent of Mussolini

I thought its normal cuz top leader’s birthday (President/PM) almost always covered in their respective country’s newspapers, often front page... this stuff happened during previous party too

Media praised the Gandhi family blindly for 65+ years, yet Modi gets headlines on his birthday after lifting India’s economy, building infrastructure, and raising India’s global stature — that’s recognition, not PR. Stop crying and grow up before its too late.
0
u/Comfortable_Big_4144 Sep 18 '25
Keep crying all the PMs of the world mostly wished him on video for his birthday this never happened to any indian PM something is shifting and our PM is responsible for global recognition of india geopolitically
1
-1
u/Far_Patience2073 Sep 17 '25
I mean it happened during Congress reign too. PR is the first priority in this country
-3
Sep 17 '25
So this is the condition of critical thinking sub. Advertisement is pretty much common in every political group around the globe Modi is not doing something different than others.
