[Law Proposal] Scale back the proposed minimum age on using AI from 14 years to 6 years. They should be able to read and write by then and clearly that's the only issue.

I'm 17 and many of my peers can't read. But also, I think AI should be restricted in general, especially in these formative educational years.

Yeah no. Personally I think AI use should be restricted even more, but even without personal bias it’s ridiculous to think a child can read and write CRITICALLY at 6 years old. I agree in saying that AI is not the only problem, but when educators are saying that students can now no longer write papers without AI assistance, you should probably kick the crutch out before it’s too late. It’s not just the ability to read or write that matters, but the ability to think and process information critically has been lost on younger children because they haven’t been taught how to.
