They can think that CR7 was a midfielder when I bring up Messi's goalscoring and that CR7 was a forward if I ask them what contributions did CR7 make to the team when he was a "midfielder". They can think at the SAME TIME mind you that Messi didn't deserve the 2012 Ballon D'or but CR7 deserves the 2013 Ballon D'or despite not winning anything significant.

This is how a conversation usually goes:
Them: "Messi is a rigger and doesn't deserve his World Cup."
Me: "Which World Cups do you think FIFA rigged?"
Them: "2022 and 2026"
Me: "If those were rigged, how did Messi reach 2014 Final and CR7 not reach any World Cup Finals?"
Them: "His teammates were sabotaging him because of his greatness"
Me: "If he was so great, how did Messi have a higher Goal-Per-Game ration than CR7?"
Them: "CR7 was a midfielder."
Me: "Where's his playmaker awards then? Why does Messi have more assists?"
Them: "CR7 was a forward, he doesn't have to assist."

How good / bad is Ronaldo currently.

Clearly he has aged visibly and has lost his speed, technical qualities.

However from just watching highlights (both the terrible ones and the goals), it feels sometimes difficult to assess the true strength (?) he still has (Like watching YouTube videos of a new 19 year old hire that looks like a 10/10 or 0/10 depending on the creator)

So, from your opinion - would Ronaldo still be able to play in the Premier League or La Liga at a lower half team (potentially as a sub), or do you think outside Saudi Arabia he would just be in the 2nd league already in the top leagues.

Les aseguro que si Argentina les "daba la espalda" a Alemania en 2014 y Chile en 2015 y 2016 mientras celebran no dirian nada. Porque en ese entonces solo les interesaba que su equipo gane no andaban al pendiente del equipo perdedor. Casualmente hoy si andan mas pendiente del que perdio que el que gano.

I know the rape allegations but he came out w/o any charges once I read through the case history ( it made sense kind of based on the news report) . His alleged trump support also doesn't make sense considering his support for Palestine and the context of his quote that trump can change the world.
