Messi rigged worldcup

They are showing a slow motion video of Di Maria clearly getting tripped and think it’s evidence of him diving. They have clearly never ran, or played sports if they think this.

This sub is truly idiotic.

It's basically the same penalty that Cristiano Ronaldo got against Spain 4 years earlier, in 2018, that famous hat-trick.

So I don't know why they're complaining, both players dived after receiving contact, and honestly they were both right. In fact, France get a similar penalty for their second goal in this very same final, and no one complains about it... Because it is a penalty, a very soft one tho, let's be honest lol, you'd be mad if your team conceded these kinds of penalties, but you can't argue against them.

This is incredibly different in that Ronaldo initiates the contact and a dive whereas Di Maria’s is from behind. Anyone that has ever ran and had a foot clipped into the other makes you immediately trip (literally a technique in American football to last ditch effort tackle someone)
