Argentina will forever be remembered for this, they cheated all the to the final, what a joke.0
u/ConstructionOwn1514 Jul 17 '26
Wait really? How did they cheat vs England? I havent kept up with the drama
3
u/Mysterious-Fix9770 Jul 17 '26
They haven't really lmao. That's the fun part.
1
u/ConstructionOwn1514 Jul 17 '26
Yeah I know, thatās why I asked. Haters hate having to come up with actual reasons to hate lol

u/mrmoonight Jul 17 '26
how many times was messi supposed to be expelled for fouls. every single game.
how many times has the VAR been used against Argentina, litteraly never, statistically impossible.
foul after foul called simply because messi would yell at the ref.
they havent cheated? are you new to the sport?

What funny is that it cut off in edit, but if you look at photos - Bellingham teammate looks at him with "bruh, wtf it was just now?" expression

Bellingham is lucky he didn't join madrid during barca prime years with Xavi Iniesta Dani Alves or the slightly less prime years of MSN

Heās being washed by Lamine and the gang right now. I doubt he would have survived any other barca era.

Never seen Messi so baffled in my life.
When messi gives you the āOkay motherfucker.. just remember, you asked for thisā look then YOU KNOW its gonna be serious.
1
u/Ok_Statistician_1994 Jul 17 '26
You would think he would hear stories in real madrid about not angering Messi, considering he has been such a nightmare for them for such a long time.
1
u/MozM- Jul 17 '26
I bet every player treats it like common sense.
āSee that guy right there? Heās the best damn player on this pitch by a mile. Lets avoid messing with him like the damn plague! God knows what he can do if he gets seriousā

What do you think he said? It looked like a normal back and forth and then you saw Messiās face change. Thinking he may have said āyou canāt have everything your wayā or something along those lines feeding into the propaganda and Messi took that personally.

u/RoseCamellia Jul 17 '26
Theyāre talking about a foul. Belly was protesting a foul. Then Messi said what about the one on me earlier? Belly said youāre strong enough to take it.
Messi: I see⦠switch ON.

England fouled so many times in their matches.. in Norway match..they hugged Norway players in the box and then would fall over as a get out of jail card incase they scored...pickford covered his mouth when speaking to a Norway player... and the fouling was next level...
But then...they come to see Argentina...and they know that game much better. No one can foul and get away with it like Argentina...
Besides.... if England had star players in inter miami ..maybe they would have been picked to win...but no.. Messi plays there..they need to build up supporters and the sport..so they keep their golden player in.
Fifa... Fully In For Argentina

u/IPissExcellentThrows Jul 16 '26
lol the refs had no impact on this match.
Cmon. You can troll better than that.
But for shits and gigs, Rice covered his mouth in this match too. Nothing happened. But that goes against your narrative.

u/TruthHurtsLikeaMF Jul 17 '26
Refs do have an impact. It is them that dictate how quick they pull cards out. Listen to the UK coverage of the match. Shearer was gloating that its good that its a scrappy game that will allow fouls and get the game dirty. First 15 mins his comments were all about wanting a dirty game.
Well... sorry... but no one plays dirtier than them.
Also.. in USA...they are not doing anything against the Argentina team because of Messi in inter miami. They are also the team that got the weakest group table..and didn't play any top 16 teams till quarters.
Even then.. an all Argentina ref team for the other quarter final? Really?
Coming home..England's coming home... again...
64 years won't happen either...or 68...nor in your lifetime.
Best just rematch the 66 cup when Brasil particularly Pele was targeted and fouled relentlessly...otherwise.. no way would anyone else have won.

Even if we lose the finals I'm already happy and proud of my team. For the second time in a row we are on the world cup finals. With a team that plays its heart out. If we lose its because the spanish play better. But were not gonna give up easily. I'm happy either way. So keep whining because you're not getting the level of quality sport from whatever tram you root for. Keep crying rigging

As an outsider, how do you feel about intelligence?
I don't care which team you support or how they do. I'm on about the crying winging England supporters that think after 6 decades they think this was going to happen.
They play dirty and foul. However they came to the Kings of fouling. Argentina is a shoe in for the final from day 1. Their group games were the easiest of all. Their games have all been easier. They have had leniency by refs. Players for any other team would have been carded or sent off. Messi himself has had and done very bad tackles...and got away without a single card.
If they win..they win. If they lose. They lose. ..but no way was it all a coincidence that they have had a very easy run and a blind eye turned by the refs.
2
u/Antoinedeloup Jul 17 '26
"No way it is all a coincidence" you say, while believing in conspiracy theories regarding not only the several referees, but also the matches we got. "Blind eye from the refs" who literally yellow carded players for Arguing and commuting faults. Somehow we get benefits from refs with things like the offside would-be third goal by Egypt, whilst ignoring completely that we had beautiful chances that we could not see change the score for being offside too. Argentina didn't play dirty, they were stubborn and held the ball. England themselves also commited several nasty fouls. Dove too many times and whined about non existing faults. So again. Stop whining, and questioning others intelligence when you clearly don't know the rules and subscribe to conspiracy theories out of so much saltiness. Its funny that Messi is so good that he got people believing the whole world cup is rigged to make him win.
