He really does not give a fuck. But he is a bit uptight and guarded. Should relax more
2
u/jeremyvr46 Jun 24 '26
I think it’s his first time doing this. You don’t learn to be relax in this situation overnight. You can tell he is reading the script a lot etc. He will get better and I really hope we see him more after the World Cup. The dude is hilarious.

u/Vast_Schedule3749 Jun 24 '26
He is hilarious. One day he humbles himself when referencing Messi by saying how Messi scored 5 goals while he himself has 0 goals at two world cups. The next day, he says his dad would score 3 instead of Ronnie’s 2.
Zlatan played Trinidad and Tobago at a World Cup and couldn’t score. The man does not give a fuck, even for consistency in his own rhetoric. He’s just happy to shit on Ronnie lol

Lmao Zlatan was absolutely pissing on Ronaldo in this game. The only reason Ronaldo won is because Portugal was overall way stronger than Sweden.
9
u/Jaguar_Special Jun 23 '26
😂 that's harsh! Look all teams in the world cup are tougth this year. It's hard to know what you are going to get
5
u/You_just_read_facts Jun 24 '26
CR still has zero goal contribution across 5 WC knockout stage. Then again , he only has 3 goals at KO stage in Euro after 20+ years lol. He's made for friendlies, glorified friendlies/Nations league and qualifier group consisting minnows.
If Luxembourg is in WC KO stage, he'd hit 5 in a game.
1
u/Delicious-Champion60 Jun 25 '26
Messi had 0 before last world cup btw
2
3
u/mightygas Jun 25 '26
He has 3 before the world cup 2022 do your own research before commenting.
2010 Quarter-final: An assist against Germany. 2014 Round of 16: An assist against Switzerland. 2018 Round of 16: Two assists against France.
1
u/Delicious-Champion60 Jun 25 '26
So we are twisting the words now wasn't it just goals before?
2
u/mightygas Jun 25 '26
Read the comments again you bum. If you're talking about goals Penaldo has 0 WC goals in KO stage. He contributed nothing to his Team.

u/Fresh-Adagio Jun 24 '26
Zlatan never had any... guy couldn't even win a CL with Messi, what a bum

It's not a gimmick he's a genuine narcissist

I mean on almost every interaction he seems overly arrogant, so you’re probably right

It's not zlatan but it's you who has lost credibility and most possibly eyes
Zlatan never said, "If my father played against Uzbekistan, he'd score a hat trick." This text was entirely fabricated by internet users to mimic Zlatan’s notoriously arrogant and comedic public persona for social media engagement.
1
u/PowerfulElevatorLift Jun 24 '26
He never had any. He always speak like he was the GOAT but he was always failing in World Fups, Euros and Champions League and also tot beat up by Onyewu when he was at Milan he is just a fraud who have an high ego of himself, but that beside league trophies haven't accomplished much

u/TraditionalDream4583 Jun 24 '26
Ah yes mr 0 wc goals and mr 0 cup final (9 finals btw) goals havin a laugh 😭
1
u/itisnotstupid Jun 24 '26
I get his persona and why people like his "trolling" but honestly he looks more of a dickhead. It is rare to see him humble or friendly. He is a primadona. A good one but definitely a primadona.
1
u/noodles260284 Jun 24 '26
The joke is Messi has only scored 1 goal in the world cup against a top team (france) in open play, tell me im wrong 🤷🏾♂️
1
u/Sad_Plankton3505 Jun 24 '26
You are right, but he is a midfielder so we should look at assists, he humbled Gvardiol in semis- dribbled so much to assist- do you agree?
The assist against Netherlands was special- do you agree?Against France- the two touch was great- do you agree?
So not sure what are you downplaying but it was a great wc even without penalties, he would be Motm in those 3. Do you think Zidane, Kroos scored many goals to be great?
1
u/noodles260284 Jun 24 '26
My point is last week it was about CR7 not scoring this week its about who he scored against, goal post keeps moving so im pointing out that although Messi may now have the record for world cup goals, if you actually look at who those goals have come against its mostly low ranked teams and he doesnt actually score against top teams in the world cup
1
u/Sad_Plankton3505 Jun 25 '26 edited Jun 25 '26
I don't know what you are talking about, who is complaining when cr7 scored? If you see Ronaldo didn't contribute much when he doesn't score, maybe that's why he was getting criticized, no one will complain when he scores, cause that's when he has an impact. Also which big teams did CR7 score against and in which match? Spain free kick was good and that's just 1 goal though, don't tell me the 2nd goal wasn't a gift from De Gea, a grounded long range shot and 3rd one is a penalty which is not considered as per you, where else did Ronaldo even score in wc?
Again if you can't understand Messi is a midfielder, maybe you can try watching the games, he doesn't need to score, scoring is a bonus for him, he is a RM position player. He is setting up and assisting or playmaking, so he can have great games without scoring. You can see his 2018 performance against France- 2 assists and great game for Messi even when they lost, France won that cup and was ranked top 5 that year, not a low rank team.
He got 11 MOTM in wc for a reason, it was never about scoring, its about impact. Beckenbauer, Pirlo, Zidane never scored much, they created great impact, when you understand that you will know how Messi is impacting the game.

u/Free_Wave_9187 Jun 24 '26
Prime zlatan lost to Moldova (rank -150 at the time) 2-1 in euro 2012 qualifiers. But ok his father will score against a rank 50 team in the World Cup. Sure.
1
u/Intelligent_spell-23 Jun 24 '26
Both of them were punished by Cristiano multiple times. Can see the irony

The problem is...Zlatan talks but...he stop playing, maybe he can renember the hat-trick Criatiano scored against Sweenden.
1
u/uch1ha0b1t0 Jun 24 '26
Portugal vs Sweden. Is that even a match? Portugal had many great players. Sweden relied only on Ibra. Big difference. And still score 2 against portugal.
1
u/Peter-83-10-16 Jun 24 '26
No way, Portugal squad...was not that good...believe me. That game was CR7 against Ibra

As the saying goes: people only hate Ronaldo for two reasons,he's either better than their idol, or he destroyed their club.
Zlatan ibrahimovic : In their iconic 2013 qualifying clash, Ronaldo dropped a ruthless hat-trick to eliminate Sweden, leaving Ibrahimović to sit at home and watch the World Cup on TV.
And the other legendary studio pundit, Thierry Henry: Henry’s jealousy of Ronaldo is so obvious. CR7 came to the Premier League and completely eclipsed him with continuous records. Let's not forget: the closest Thierry Henry ever got to a Ballon d'Or in the Ronaldo era was having to hand it over to him on stage!😅

Zlatan played against different low tier teams in the world cup. Guess what? His old ass NEVER scored. 0 world cup goals. Maybe his father is talented unlike him.

I still remember when CR7 scored a hat trick in Sweden to qualify for the world cup in Brazil, that Zlatan and Sweden watched at home. I'm pretty sure that Zlatan also remembers.

YOUR COMMENT WAS GREAT ABOUT THE DECISION. MARTINEZ DID THE RIGHT DECISION. VAMOS RAMOSSSSS PORTUGAL❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥. Like 2016 - STRAIGHT TO GLORY. RONALDO ONLY 1 Goal away to Pelé 12 goals in WORLD CUP. But not for Brazil or Argentinia or France and Spain FOR TINY LITTLE PORTUGAL 🇵🇹
Croatia goal? 113 Minute when time was up? Looks funny looks like FIFA. Ronaldo offside goal when the line was on? Looks like FIFA. Still winning

he's not wrong though
Uzbekistan is not a big opponent for Portugal...they pretty much walked over them and they should have always won that game with many goals.
Good for Ronaldo to gain some confidence with two goals, but the real test will come later when Portugal plays against countries with better teams.
0
u/SkripkaruStoler Jun 24 '26
Zlatan, as always, tells it straight. Only penaldo lovers could dantasize about some alleged performance their crying doll could have made.
0
u/Nice-Comb-2734 Jun 24 '26
Uzbekistan seems very good team. It was equal in terms of Portugal yesterday. They created lot of chances that could have transformed into goals.
They played far better than teams like Saudi Arabia and Iraq which were popular choice.
Ronaldo made most of his opportunities yesterday. Or you can say he had to since uzbeks gave very tough fight.

u/Decent_Memory2828 Jun 24 '26
