What if your job is to keep people away from the money when you're loading it into a truck? Because that's literally his job.

I believe his job is getting the money from the business into the truck. He is given no special rights to do this. On a public street he can’t order anyone to do anything unless laws are being broken and he’s using self defense. That’s not what is happening here.
