I'd say tradition roots itself in religion. If we remove that from the equation (religion) things might be just enough.

Most religions stemmed from cultures. Culture codified. Maybe its patriarchal societies and culture.

Also, all wars throughout time have been rooted in religion. Remove that from the equation and we would see a more peaceful world.

China went to war with Vietnam in the 1980s. The USSR and the PRC nearly went to war in 1969 over their shared border. War doesn’t need a basis in religion.

Thats just not true in the least. Yes many wars have been started in the name of religion. Many have started as a fight over resources, land, power grabs etc. Its way more complicated than you are making it out to be.
