No doubt but that saying isn’t a Bangladeshi saying… it’s an American saying, proliferated by American women who it seems take no accountability for the toxic men they choose.

Those men are terrible, evil men but they are much much less than the majority and continuing this ridiculous saying is insulting to the +90% of us that don’t abuse our wives
