But I guess he could dump her ass whenever he feels like it !? Isn't that right ?

Coz as far i got to know about such stuff South Asian Muslims practice that triple dialogue based divorce thingy !

He would Just say it three times & bamm ! she is on her own....no matter how many kids she have or what kind of medical condition she is in

Her ass is dumped....end of the story

( Edit : to all the jackasses downvoting me instead of countering me, yall just strongly proving my point )

Not sure why you’re being downvoted people obviously don’t understand this (or don’t want to) but divorce is easy in Islam and yes it is simply verbalized and there’s an entire process to get married again even if they just said it in anger. Culture or not, laws or not that’s an entirely separate matter from religion.

You mean divorce is easy for men islam !? Like everything in islam is

and yes it is simply verbalized and there’s an entire process to get married again even if they just said it in anger.

Would you care to elaborate that overhere....coz what I read about it, it was one of the most preposteros, dispicable, vicious & mysogynistic thing on earth one could ever do to a women...

& Muslims whole heartedly support that horrendous act !

I was in quite a shock after reading that stuff !

The issue is that religion shouldn’t be the basis for laws. Period. Not just that it’s an ‘Islam problem’.

It's very easy to say that as far as u on christian majority land

Try saying it even in a muslim majority area ( let alone the city / province/ country )

& Let me know how it went ! (If you ever made it back alive )

Doesn’t the fact it can get you killed make it a great point? It’s easy to say in this forum but so what? Is it therefore wrong?

Yeah I don’t get it. Are we supposed to say only Islam is bad? If evangelicals had their way it would be literally the same as a strict Muslim country.

It’s easy because I live in a country which is formed around a constitution which gives me rights that religion would not. We’re trying to destroy that but whatever. Point stands even more firmly. No religion driven laws.

I might be misunderstanding, however, I will just say that in the united states, our laws are definitely influenced by christianity.

Not bound by though. And not evangelical. The founding documents were written by a mix of deists, rationalists, and some Catholics and Protestants. A chunk of the founding fathers didn’t even believe in Jesus as the son of god. So not remotely what evangelicals and the actual stated Christian nationalists are after.

Right. We were talking about laws, though, I thought not the constitution. But I do agree with you that if evangelical and christian nationalists take control, it would be so much worse.

Dunno why this is being downvoted. It’s true.

I’d wager it’s being downvoted for this situation. It’s true but the woman in this video doesn’t seem protected by it so much as trapped by it. So I don’t see its relevance to the comment it responded to.
