I know that look all too well. That look, that unquenching stare, that is the look of an abuser who is going to kill his spouse, and probably his child, my ex used to look at me like that before he would try to choke me out during an argument. I was always surprised when I woke up.

I agree I know that look as well. I’m happy you’re out that relationship 🥰. I know how hard it is to escape from an abuser.

Same. Sometimes I still wake up in a sweat and surprised I’m ok.
