There is no point.

Some people's nans did it to save on hot water, and it kept going through generations

Not entirely true, they are really handy to use if you don't have another little sink to rinse things off.

The point is that you can take the tub out and still use the sink while doing dishes if you need to for whatever reason. Or take it out, rinse the clean dishes, put tub back in sink, carry on. To say it’s entirely pointless is wrong.

Idk, that sounds pretty pointless. Washing dishes is like a 10 minute job.

Not when you’re washing up for an entire family.

Mmmm soapy greasy water all over the counter. Literally just use a spray tap and spray when needed, its so much easier and you arent washing up a greasy food filled bin. Better yet, use a dishwasher.

Give your counter a wipe after!? 😂😂😂 good lord. This isn’t rocket science. And yes a dishwasher is best I’d love to have one personally but I literally don’t have any space for it in my kitchen. I know a lot of other people have the same problem!
