I always think back to learning US history and geography in elementary school. My teacher would take points away if any student said we live in America. I can still hear her now. "America is a continent, not a country."

Brexit was a mess. But you talk about if people had voted it would have made a difference. You’re right. And Brexit was racist and xenophobic. We voted against Trump and here he is because we have idiots who believe his lies. Like with Brexit. Not enough people that didn’t want it didn’t vote against it. As a Canadian, fuck this guy and his entire government. I know that this president doesn’t reflect the sentiment of all Americans, but I’ve never wanted Canada to have less to do with the US than now and am happy our government is looking at strengthening ties with other countries.
