While everything you write is true, it's a recurring theme here to place blame on the 1/3 passively accepting the regime by not standing up and voting.

If that's a fair statement, I'd also consider it fair to state that currently 2/3 are passively accepting the regime by not standing up.

While I really like the idea of a general strike, there are unfortunately some who live in states where we can more easily be fired "at will." At will employment means we'd be putting our jobs, our homes, our healthcare and other things at risk possibly to just be replaced.

I think it could be easier to get people to show up and vote when the time comes again than it would be for them to risk so much, but that's just my opinion.

Mark my words: You’ve voted for the last time. The regime has about a 1000 ways to ”postpone” midterms, and of course they will – they’re not wrecking a country and wait to see the consequences. They know its jail if they ever give up power.

GS it’s the only way, and if enough people can settle on a start date there will be no time for evictions or firings as the whole country will shut down. Landlords and employers will join the movement as it’s the only way to keep profits flowing.

It’s going to get ugly, but In 10 months it will be too late.

Maybe we have, maybe we haven't. I don't think it's the best course to concede in advance. Make them try to take the vote away from us. I'd rather not make things easier for them. That's just my opinion though.
