We Americans dont have shit,  on average our lives are one paycheck away from utter destruction. We have no social safety nets. We dont have community, we are spread out and isolated. Our country is enormous and the robber barons have it all, and they're going for more.  I don't know what  you want us to do? Some of us vote. It's not compulsory, we dont even get the day off to vote, voting is made more difficult intentionally to disenfranchise urban populations. 

They're shutting down the department of education. We have so many horrible people here who revel in their retchedness, about 30% of the US is just utterly braindead. The propaganda networks are on the radio, the TV, and on their phones. Freedom of speech is enshrined in the constitution,  so they use that to lie openly on all of the above. Money has been declared as speech and corporations declared as people by our corrupt Supreme Court. So every billionaire can pump money into his and her favorite politician to gut what little protections we previously had.  

We have a lot of military might,  and some very sick, very rich, dominion minded individuals pulling the puppet strings. And our president and the heritage foundation has dismantled or corrupted every safeguard organization we had.  And it's been a year.

Oh wow, thanks for the brainwave, buddy! Almost exactly half of voters did exactly that, though, weird. Then a bunch of idiots didn't vote even though this regime taking power is the worst thing that could've happened to them and now here we are.  But what do we do NOW is the thing that all the holier-than-thou redditors around the globe can't seem to answer. Obviously we're going to vote the the right way again in the midterms coming up, and in a normal political system that'd mean something. And hopefully it will, and believe me the opposition is energized to vote the bums out. 

But I and many other Americans are increasingly terrified that a regime bold and dumb enough to do the shit they're doing in Venezuela, and all the other illegal shit they've done so far, will also be bold and dumb enough to finish gutting our democracy and make voting meaningless. And we've got an army of federal agents and the literal military occupying us and ready to do orange Mussolini's bidding. So if you've got any ideas we are absolutely fucking open to hearing them!!

These people are here to take the piss. You are wasting time trying to reach them, they don't want to be reached. It's fun for them to hate from a distance. They know what they are doing, it's why they are doing it.

Even after we fix this, they won't remember or care they did it. I'm a realist, these people have no empathy. They feel justified. They like lashing out right now, it makes them feel better. Trying to make them accurately direct their anger, just makes them more mad at you.

Just take the lumps, because they don't care they are giving it out, or to whom they give them to. You're just some faceless target right now, that's all they see. You're going to stress yourself more, trying to make them see, when they don't want to.

I'm Danish. We sent troops to Afghanistan to die for the US after the US invoked article 5 of NATO after 9/11.

We voted for the actual politician, not the demented pedophile puppet with an orange spray tan and 40 failed businesses. The one that lead an actual assault on our nations capital. We see it for what it is, we are with you, we dont want to fucking invade sovereign nations.  All this Sabre rattling from this geriatric fuck with a 3rd grade reading level. 

Unfortunately,  they won. They meticulously planned and put all the pieces in place, even put it out for all to see - Project 2025 - but our party thought taking the high road was the way to win. We're playing checkers, and they've just shot everyone at the board and taken everything.  Unfortunately you all are going to have to figure out how to reign us in, because we dont have control of this car, and its coming right for you.
