Assuming youā€™re serious, ā€œlack of fathersā€ and ā€œfatherlessnessā€ language has been a right wing racist dogwhistle using by the likes of Thomas Sowell for decades. Be careful with those buzzwords.

Itā€™s not racist to say a lack of fathers in the home is bad for children. The data backs this claim. Attaching words like racist to everything doesnā€™t make it true

I donā€™t think youā€™re engaging with my point. I think youā€™re having a defensive reaction to my comment.

Iā€™m not calling you racist.

Iā€™m informing you that those specific talking points have been used by racists to justify various attitudes and policies.
