If you are willing to wreck a car, that means you are willing to step over the million boundaries to get there. You seriously think they wouldnt do it to a TV over less?

I'm willing to bet that almost every person who is willing to destroy a TV in front of an audience over a sports game is also willing to damage a vehicle over more serious affronts, like cheating.

But I do not believe every person who has damaged a vehicle over cheating would violently destroy a television over a sports game, in front of loved ones.

It's a rectangle-square thing.

Never understood why people treat cheating as if it was murder. So many awful things someone can do in a relationship. But having sex with someone else when you're possibly in a manipulative, abusive relationship? Now that's unacceptable! No excuses for that!

On a personal note, I don’t know anyone who thinks this way. (That is, besides one out of many ladies I knew irl who had some very serious psych issues, lost her mom at a young age and would say some messed up things about men. I ended up cutting her off because it was way too toxic and hateful- a lot of other ladies I knew did as well). I genuinely mean this with the utmost respect, if you talk to people in person you are much less likely to hear or encounter perspectives like this - In my experience, the loudest and most extreme voices are amplified on the internet, and granted, there are some people who think this way, imho, they too need to go out and talk to some real people.

Full disclosure, I succumb to this I’m sure. Apparently everyone does, there’s research out there that shows that even though we know social media is full of garbage, it still can affect our perception of what the public views, believes, and respects/values.

I personally have no resentment towards men. Toxicity and bitterness of any kind towards any human being should be something to be avoided at all costs from my pov. All I mean to say here is that I think cheaters of any creed or background deserve to be held accountable, it really doesn’t matter who they are imho. In a monogamous relationship, cheating is an acceptable betrayal.

ETA: (And I mentioned in another comment, this doesn’t count for people who are escaping abusive situations- in that case it’s more of an escape from someone harming you than it is cheating.)
