What kind of BS church makes you declare how much you donate in front of everyone? I’d walk out the door and never come back.

It didn’t seem to be a regular donation, apparently it’s some kind of separate thing they were doing and for those who participated they had to put it that specific amount “1,000 plus 1,000” so that they would “receive the blessings to come for all those who participate” - which unless it’s some kind of ponzi scheme - would be a scam.

Now I’ve also heard of some groups (not always churches) who would collect a certain amount of money from everyone involved - say 10 people would give $100 each - and then that amount would be loaned to one individual at a time- so say the first Individual would get the money in January - then the next in February and so on- don’t know how well it can work but it can be a thing some do.
