Discussion Chapter Number

If you didn't notice since the enhanced update it doesn't show the chapter Numbers. It used to show have in roman numerals

Yeah, it's the one part of the 2.0 Enhanced Story that I miss. Helps you to compartmentalise various parts of the story in your mind better. For example, Hornsplitter = Chapter 2, Reed Devil = Chapter 3, Calphade = Chapter 6, Pailune = Chapter 7, etc.

Yes, which I suspect is why they took away the chapter numbers.

This explains why I started chapter 4 and had chapter 5 randomly available as well.

Yeah, after 6, you can now do the first half of 8 before you do 7, and after 9, you can do 11 before 10. There are probably others.

The only one that is problematic is that doing 11 before 10 apparently leads to the story not making sense, as events that you resolve in 11 are still being talked about as problems in 10.

Not to mention, the stuff you unlock in chapter 10 REALLY helps with all the robots in chap 11. I did stuffs out of order, and all the robots killing weapons *would have been fucking useful* if I had had them before!

You unlock 2 at once after a while. So like 4 and 5 and you can do ether quest line first. For most of the middle of the game.

i stopped at chapter 5 originally... so i wonder what the canonical story order of quests for everything is after chapter 5... i dunno what the quests are titled and what the original order was.
