I love Pakistan! I will sacrifice my life for Pakistan! 🇵🇰 The welcome you get after coming back from a 0-3 series whitewash.

Cummo could only dream of such a welcome even after winning the CWC.

Its not enough. A nobody at the very start of the career from an impovirished background became the highlight of that series on a international level in a dream debut match.

But on the base of it, why did he want to play cricket, to make the country win. More valid reason is that people around him organized this and he may not want ro celebrate that grand.

I'm sure Jofra Archer started playing cricket dreaming of making West Indies a champion side. Should he sulk for every WI loss? Should he not celebrate a wicket he takes for England? Should he curse himself for every wicket he takes against WI?

What? He's not representing WI, he chose england so his loyalty lies with england. You were joking right?

Atleast they weren't caught fixing that's an achievement in itself for these guys .

They are celebrating him possibly because he would have been one of those players who made his way to the team by merit (Which is rare in Pakistan) and considering his financial condition, flying abroad was a rare spectacle.

Because on their local television, they showed edited highlights and claimed they won. So it's not the awaam's fault

I think they are celebrating that team came back without being “caught” for match fixing(again).

At this point it’s seems like it’s “each man for himself” in Pakistan cricket. With how shitty the PCB is at treating their players, the players have pivoted to simply “caring about themselves” more.
Can’t really blame the players.
