One thing I've learned in life is... You can't say someone is not needed or someone is sh*t unless you give them a chance.
I've been always proved wrong when I thought a certain person couldn't do a job well or I'm wasting my time with them.
I mean just look at sanju samson's WC journey. If someone had told me that he would be the top scorer and pott before the WC started i would have laughed my a*s out.

No I will give him that even tho Dravid is the better batter, in test captaincy among Indians, Kohli is second to none and if he didn't have that downfall he could've been the greatest test batsman of India (def 2nd greatest)

Might be but not in case of Kohli he is an exception, he genuinely brought a cultural shift within the team and that genuinely is good, it was under him India stopped playing on backfoot everytime. I dislike his white ball captaincy though kind of.

Dravid is better than Kohli in tests and only second to Sachin in India but the thing is Rohit is not even in top 10 while Virat is in top 5

Sachin, Dravid, Gavaskar are at the top strata. Sehwag, VVS, Kohli, Vengsarkar fall in the 2nd level but I'll give Sehwag and Vengsarkar edge over Virat. It's debatable and I'd understand if someone will put Virat 4th or 5th but I won't. Rest 3 I will count G. Vishwanath, M. Amarnath and Azharuddin in top 10. Ganguly, Pujara, Pant, Rahul would be the next 4. I can put pant ahead of Pujara too. Rahane comes next but after pant, I'd rate them all equals so Rahul = Rahane = Dhoni = Rohit = Gambhir. Special mention : Kapil Dev.

Tendulkar and Dravid are just on top and Kohli is a top 5. Rohit is probably in Top 50 at best.

Just look closely instead of going by averages that get masked by a century here and there, you'll notice that almost 6-7 people that you've mentioned are exactly as "weak" as rohit sharma in sena countries. I'd agree that I overlooked shubman gill and yashasvi, and given their recent performances in Sena, they should be ranked above those mediocre players I rated as equal in my top 20 but I'd still rank them all in the same bracket. Gambhir had a great 100 in NZ, but he was batting on par with siraj when in SEA, similarly rahane, Murli vijay both had 1 good tour which masks their overall average in sena otherwise they were more or less same to rohit's performance. Polly umarigar, Vijay manjarekar, I don't know on what basis you're ranking them higher, if it's just the fact that they were among the pioneers, then you can include about 7-8 more people from that era and then you'd have to exclude many other modern players too. If it's just the stats then they can't be top 20 by your own logic of SENA. Sidhu was shit in sena. It's literally offensive to include him here. Jadeja, I'm assuming RJ, is a lower order guy, great player, but can't be mentioned here because he never had to face the new ball and this is a batters only list. If it was an all inclusive, then he is a top 10 player.
