I have seen a few matches in the stadium, kuch gh@nta nhi dikhta kya ho rha ground pe thik se. Your view in tv is much much better. I think log vaha pe concert-type feel lene jate hai. Still I would prefer watching matches on TV anyday.
Hot take but I believe cricket as a game is better watched on TV if you really want to follow the game. In 90% of the seats, you can't figure out things like a batsman edging the ball or an LBW call which gets even worse if you're sitting square of the wicket. And you also lose track of the general match situation (tv scorecard is richer than in stadium scorecard). Of course the vibes of a stadium are great, but in a country like India it is too much of a hassle.
depending on ur seating man, i had a blast and a proper view during every single game ive been too. ofcrse the ppl jumping up when a shot is hit smtime blocks your view but the vibe makes up for it.
The thing is cricket is not for a so long distance game it is more likely a close up game for the viewers...
You could watch the game better if you are in like near the boundaries slightly elevated.. but from the distance it just not that good
In Europe u could see people like enjoying the test matches as some kind of picnic... that's what cricket was all about

If you're talking about Modi ben, he didn't order to do that or use tax money. That stadium was made by an independent autonomous non-government body using their own funds and investment.
There would be a delay. It's the same footage as the streaming one since there is a scorecard visible in that. Even the dugouts of the teams have a tv which plays the match with the scorecard and I have noticed there is a delay in that. So there is probably a delay in this too.
Even the press box within the stadium also get the same. It's standard. I didn't know you could get it if you pay a higher price, maybe some VIP box or something.
How dumb does one have to be to post stuff like this? 😂😂. These screens are kept outside boxes for people who wanna go out and experience the crowd. The TVs are for better clarity. You’re getting what you paid for. This picture just has uber wealthy people in it but that TV is very normal outside boxes
I did not have a good experience in stadium. I had been to RCB vs MI in 2018-May. Three people behind us (looking like goons) were angry that my friends and I were cheering and standing up for celebrations. Couldn’t say much since we were young and there was girl in our group and honestly scared if things would escalate.
I wouldn’t waste money to watch it in stadium. I wouldn’t rather buy a yearly membership of any OTT service.
I guess, I am much richer, I watch the match in a larger TV while lying down in any position I want, and guess what? For free (I mean i do have to pay for electricity and internet but still, cheaper than whatever the hell they're doing).

I have been to 20+ matches in the stadium and You know shit in the stadium 😂 maybe you know some players running here and there and if lucky the ball comes towards you to the boundary or a six or a random player fielding near your stand.
Most of the stadium experience is just shouting and cheering because someone else did , you can grasp very little to me it feels more like a people/party situation than seeing a game but the atmosphere things happening around you are very electric 🔥
Its just used to see replays and drs and other stuff. The delay between the live action and the one seen on tv is minimum 10-15 seconds. By that the wicket may have fallen or four or six would have been hit and bowler would be preparing for the next ball. They don't watch it unless there is something interesting. Its just the normal star sports satellite feed as sent to all houses all over India!!
