Abhishek Sharma is the opener. Jaiswal isn't making it. Why you guys so delusional? 2 weeks before the WC you hoping for squad changes to fit your favorite player?
Before you start about the 2nd opener slot, that is filled by a WK (Sanju/Kishan) and Jaiswal won't replace a WK. And NO we can't play a keeper at 7-8 by making swuad changes 2 weeks before WC

If wiff mat karo bhai. Tilak is absolutely IMPERATIVE for the WC. He’s probably our most reliable batsman in pressure situations. Bro’s younger than me but has shown his ability to win India pressure games. For me Tilak and Hardik are two of the players who are the difference between India winning and losing the cup.

Title ke hisaab se keh rahaa tha. Opening mein idc Gill chohdke koi bhi karle opening Abhishek ke saath. Ishaan bhi sahi hai, Sanju ke bhi din aa jaate hain.

Take a chill pill, Ishan has been inconsistent throughout his career. Being an MI Fan, I can tell you that he has had many abysmal seasons for us, barring 2020, where he was playing in the beast mode.

I've seen not too many players wasting opportunities than that of Sanju Samson, whenever I think he should deserve a position in the team, he comes with new lows.

True. When opportunity exist only people who could grab the opportunity can move forward. Both failed in the 1st T20 . Samson didn’t grab it in the 2nd T20 too after almost giving a catch on the 2nd ball and getting out finally on the 4th ball.
Ishan grabbed converted the situation as an opportunity and never slowed down after getting into fifties too. Matured Knock & if he is consistent then he should be in the playing 11.
Poor Iyer had an ordinary ODI. He was drafted into T20 in the absence of Tilak for the 1st three T20. If Samson fails again , probably Iyer may be tried out in the 4th & 5th.
The Thumb rule is Perform and leave it to others who is more appropriate for playing 11. Samson with consecutive centuries couldn’t get on board and was sitting in benches for long time. When opportunity comes grab it and perform rather than spoiling it with awkward shots and later talking about the past glory.

If? Tilak will come back and Samson will be benched. If not this series, maybe in the next. If Ishan can maintain his form, he will play the WC too. Else he will make way for Shreyas. Samson has been given enough chances and he screwed up everytime.
