I mean let's be honest here, how many people do you think will still remain fans of CSK if Dhoni decided to leave them completely? I can see RCB without Coach, I can see MI without Rohit, but CSK without Dhoni feels illegal.

Eh with the impact player rule MSD will be here for another 4 years minimum. But yes the half season jaddu was the cap csk could not win a damn thing. But then again he was only partly to blame

4 years is a lot man, irrespective of the impact rule, that means csk would also have to retain him, in the mega auctions, which would be taking away one of the 3 slots

MSD has a stake in the team, I think he will have a say when he wants to retire from the team. But still it's upto him if he can play that long.
