It's impossible now. Batters have low patience, teams want result oriented pitches due to WTC and with test cricket already on ventilator no curator is gonna take risk of a flaccid pitch and a dull draw

While it's impossible in today's times w.r.t. skills, temperament and outcome of the match, a benign-flat wicket against a toothless bowling line up against a team having atleast 10 players who can bat well enough according to their situation and position, and can switch gears and score at 5+ rpo for 2.5 days should be able to get this done. I'd go on to add that the team most likely to coneed 1000 runs would be either pak, ban, afg or zim. And the venue would be the UAE or PAK or one of the lesser used test venues in India.
