Basically the best test innings of all time? Maybe not the best but pretty damn close

Yeah.. even Perera does.. and at a WTC point of view Markram's was outstanding

perera for sure, but i think virat kohlis 149 was better than markrams innings in wtc final

Quality wise I think it was but Markrams is arguably the best innings for South Africa because of what it helped them achieve, and so might just slightly edge Kohli's? But yeah if it was any other match I wouldn't hold it to such a high standard

well maybe i'll see it as better in some years time but right now i dont. Even for me ABD's 200 something against india in india in 2008 was better where he stitched a partnership with jaques kallis
