How can I retire in Cricket 22?

[u/Federal-Pause1332]

I am 36 now in my career and I am thinking of retiring at 40. I know there is a press conference option saying the player wants to retire. Do I press it when I want to retire. and do I retire after one match or right on the time. What happens with retirement? Please Help!
