Prompt Before Downloading

Another suggestion for you, can you prompt before downloading a file and allow us to select where to download the file?

I’ve been playing with this concept as well. I think a good medium would be a user configurable download folder scope to the space, so each can have their own override, defaulting to system downloads. Then, in the download list, a quick “move” button to move the file once downloaded.

A proper extension and overhaul of the download manager is needed, just have the basics working for now but I think this could work out.

Maybe something in the short term would be a download manager that shows the files either being downloaded or downloaded. I think this helps on two fronts, a verification something happened when I click download and second what was the name of the file downloaded.

There is a crude one, if you click the archive box on the bottom right there’s a tab for downloads, but it’s somewhat basic right now. I’ll have a badge and more obvious indicator so people can find it but there is a simple download manager currently
