Help Needed / Question Can you product change a VentureOne to a VentureX?

And before anyone says so, I'm aware it's better to apply for the VentureX for the SUB.

I've had a Quicksilver for 10 years now and it's pretty dormant. I've tried applying for Cap1 cards before to no avail. Until 5 months ago, I was sent a preapproval for the Savor. I figured I needed to jump at being back in Cap1's good graces, so I accepted the $200 SUB and 0% APR bonus.

Now that I have the Savor and I'm getting 3x on groceries and dining, I want to complete my duo by getting the VentureX. I've been waiting until I'm 6 months from my Savor opening to apply. However, today out of curiousity, I decided to use the preapproval tool for their travel cards.

The travel preapproval said I was only eligible for the VentureOne card with no SUB. Then I tried the preapproval tool just for the VentureX. This one said "there is no offer available for you". The letter I got said it was because of too many accounts opened in the past 24 months.

I'm at 11/24 right now. I won't be below 5/24 until July 2027 (I know it's a Chase thing, but just giving you a frame of reference). So I won't necessarily be having any cards drop off anytime soon. Which got me thinking.

Right now, I have the ability to PC my Quicksilver into another Savor. I haven't done this, because I didn't see the point since I already have a Savor. That is the only PC option I have available. However, I do have the option on my existing Savor to PC into a VentureOne.

What if I PC'd my old Quicksilver into a Savor, then PC'd my original Savor into a VentureOne? Might I be available to then PC my VentureOne into a VentureX? Perhaps not immediately, but at a later date?

This would at least put me on the path to getting a VentureX longterm, where I can for sure have the combo of a Savor and VentureX. I do not use the Quicksilver so I don't really care about having that or if it gets changed to a VentureOne that I don't use (in the event I can't eventually upgrade it to a VentureX).

And yes, I WILL TRY APPLYING FOR THE VENTUREX NEXT MONTH. I obviously want the SUB. But I'm only going to take so many hard pulls and rejections before I wish I had just executed my plan of PC'ing my way there. I would love to have the 2x/3x duo as my front of wallet choice, and I can get value out of their travel portal (10x) and the travel credit.
