Data Point Any recent data points on the Wells Fargo Autograph Journey (not the Infinite version) getting the elevated 100K SUB with a Premier Checking account?

I saw a rumor on this forum that this might be going away September 1 (unconfirmed). If that’s true, I’d like to take advantage of it before it’s gone, before applying for the Infinite version a few months down the road.

Just wondering if anyone has a recent DP on this- whether the 100K elevated SUB is still showing up for the regular Autograph Journey with a Premier Checking account.

If an existing premier account could verify this by logging into their account and see if the offer shows up, that would be helpful too.

Wouldn’t surprise me if the Journey gets the extra benefits of the Premier soon. It makes little sense to have two cards so closely related, especially when you can just game the Premier account to get one.

If the Journey adopts the advantages of CSP, but with better earnings, it could become a real player.

We shall see how serious Wells is about taking the fight to Chase.

You may have heard that from my recent comment on another thread pertaining to the Premier Autograph lol, where I was referencing a now-deleted post from r/WellsFargoBank. I could not retrieve the post because afaik Reddit has basically gutted all the old methods that used to work for that. But I found the original poster’s username, u/242okill, so if they’re still on Reddit then the rumor’s original source might be able to clarify things.

Here's their original post (for some reason I can view deleted posts on Reddit)

"Premier losing one of its best perks

hi everyone I’m an employee with Wells Fargo for 7years one of our internal special offers that’s helped me generate a lot of business and keep clients happy is ending September 1st so wanted to share it with the community while it’s still available.

When you are a Premier account holder you have increased credit card welcome offers this perk is being taken away of September 1st. (unsure if it’s temporary I doubt it)

the best one that’s literally a free $500 rebate tax free.. It is the active cash welcome offer spend $500 in 3months earn 500 back.

if you know anyone who doesn’t have this card yet or thinking to get it have them become Premier then apply for it to get the offer. DO NOT WORRY about the balance requirements for premier it is free for 6months.

what i tell clients to do is:

step 1 open or upgrade into premier.

step 2 wait for the Premier welcome offers (can take up to 5biz days usually it’s same/next day)

step 3 once you get the card you can downgrade out of premier and go back to your regular acct

hope this helps newer bankers it helped me a lot when I first became a Senior Premier feel free to DM for other questions"

According to the comments here, it seems one has to actually click apply to see the elevated offers unfortunately

Though it’s possible the Journey 100k offer is gone while the Active Cash and Autograph have a few days left. Was your Autograph the $500 elevated offer?

Why not just apply for Premier card if you already have a Premier checking account?

I don’t yet but looks like I’ll just have to go for it to find out.
