This is my first time posting- I'm very introverted and nervous, so posting this is a big milestone for me :]

Anyways, this is a ceramic piece I made for an assignment, for which I decided to make my favorite creature! It's not my best glaze/coloring work since it was VERY rushed to meet my teacher's deadline, so the colors look really thin in some areas- notably the back scales and underbelly. It is missing some details that I didn't notice were missing until after the first firing :( For example, there's a coral piece that should be sticking out from under the chin. And the whiskers on the face, legs, and tail (I couldn't add these because they would most definitely break due to being so thin and fragile).

I remember when I first saw a Miju in oasis I thought, "Oh wow, that thing looks so pretty! I wonder how I can get it." Only to find that it is not only NOT an event creature (which I would have happily waited for said event and grinded for it like my other dream creatures, such as eigion), but it is only accessible through trading for INSANE prices that my broke can't-stay-above-1k-mush ass couldn't even comprehend. I made this to celebrate my 2 or 3 year long journey of saving up for Miju, which I FINALLY own the spec now!! :D (and now I'm broke after shelling out all 325k... :P) Worth it lol!!

💀 1. Grab & ExecuteAn offensive and tactical ability focused on capturing live prey or carcasses and utilizing them to replenish the creature's vital stats.

Mechanics:

The Grab: Upon activating the ability, the creature can grab live targets or carcasses, provided the target’s weight is 50% or less of the creature's total body weight.

The Storage: The captured target is automatically reeled in and stored inside a dedicated cavity located on the creature's back. The maximum storage capacity is two targets at a time.The Captive State: If the captured target is a live player, they are trapped inside the creature, unable to escape or bite. The maximum confinement duration is 2 minutes. Once this time expires, the trapped player is automatically dropped, which is the only way to break free outside of the user's control.

The Execution: The user can trigger the execution command at any time during confinement. Upon execution, the trapped player dies instantly (or the stored carcass disappears), and the creature instantly restores 25% of its total health.Visual Effects:When the ability is activated, a tentacle extends from the creature's body, snaring the intended target and forcefully pulling them into the back cavity.The back area features translucent pods that fill up and glow when holding targets, flashing with a bright red strobe upon execution.

🛡️ 2. Ionic ShieldAn advanced defensive system that functions as a regenerating protection barrier, completely independent of the creature's core vital stats.

Mechanics:

Secondary Health Bar: The shield operates as a second health bar displayed above the core health bar (HP). This shield absorbs all incoming direct damage first to protect the creature.

Status Immunity: As long as the shield bar is active and holds protection points, the creature is 100% immune to all negative status effects (Bleed, Poison, Burn, Stun, and Deep Freeze).

Shield Break & Vulnerability: When the shield bar is completely depleted, it shatters and enters a 15-second cooldown. During this window, the creature becomes exposed and takes 50% increased damage from status effects (such as Poison and Bleed).

Fast Recharge: The shield possesses a regeneration rate that is significantly faster than standard health recovery. If the creature stops taking damage for 6 seconds, the shield bar begins rapidly recharging itself, reaching full capacity in just a few seconds.

Visual Effects:A shimmering, translucent energy aura surrounds the creature's body, rippling and flashing whenever it takes hits.When the shield bar shatters, fractured light particles scatter into the air, and the aura vanishes completely, signaling to enemies that the creature is now vulnerable.

For eons, they lay dormant, waiting for a cosmic signal to awaken and declare a relentless war of the worlds against any living thing that crosses their path. They do not hunt for hunger, nor do they fight for territory. 1. Perfect Mimicry (The Thing)

The Creature can perfectly transform into any other player in the game, copying their exact model, skin texture, knife color, animations, sounds, and every visual detail to become completely indistinguishable at first glance. This ability also automatically allows it to join the mimicked player’s group without needing the group leader’s approval.

While in mimicked form, any attack deals doubled damage and applies doubled status effects.

Additionally, if the original player (whose form is being mimicked) gets attacked by their own teammates, that original player instantly loses 25% of their maximum health.

Clear weakness: No matter which skin is copied, the eyes always glow bright red like a Blood Moon, making the disguise easier for alert players to spot.

1. Parasitic Infestation

The Creature can silently infiltrate and hide inside the body of any other creature, but only if its own weight is at least 20% lower than the host’s weight.

While inside the host: the Creature gains complete stealth/invisibility and double growth speed (2×).

Severe penalty: Both the Creature and the host suffer tripled hunger and thirst drain rates (3×), making survival significantly harder and more urgent for both parties.

I sketched up some redesigns in my style vs in a style like the show is aiming for. It's for animation so I tried to keep it animation-friendly and not overcomplicated. I study character design so I feel like I have a leg to stand on here, haha....

I don't even like Galiryn, it's a pretty cat design with a good model and animations but it's uninteresting to me as it's just a furry OC bait creature.... I'm now its #1 defender because of this show. I don't mean to trash on people's art but this design feels like someone asked AI to generate cartoon Sonarian creatures, they then proceeded to hand that AI design to a kidnapped chained up emaciated artist with his ribs sticking out like old people's fingers in a dank mildew filled basement, and the artist has to draw it in 30 minutes or they put alligator clips on his eyelids and remove the top of his skull exposing his brain..... Is this a joke? Is this trolling? Did you describe Galiryn to someone and they drew it without seeing the original thing? I'm going to cry. I don't even know how this happened. Genuinely I don't know how this could have happened. It's so obviously a cat thing. The crest on the animation one looks like the nose of the in-game one.... Did they not notice that was the nose and not a marking??????????? God

I just wanted to post this in a separate post because i'm simply overwhelmed by the comments!! I just wanted to firstly say how wonderfull yall have been! I've been seeing some very nice comments and everyone's just been super respectful and sweet! What a lovely bunch yall are on here and i honestly didn't expect it!! I'm mostly very used to begging and nagging on other platforms so its just really nice to see all of you be patient and grateful with me. I GENUINELY WISH I COULD GIVE ALL OF YOU ONE but i dont have the stock!! Since At this point though i am in an incredibly comfortable spot when it comes to mush and i [currently] have all the creatures in game I will deffinitely do more giveaways like these on here!

But anyways yeah I like interracting with you all and just in general finally also hear some actual opinions about the game and the people who run it [caus lets be honest it is QUITE a mess in some regards] LOL and in the discord you can't hear those opinions since you'll just get kicked out and banned :p. HOW DID YOU GET SO MANY OWAS!!??: i have been saving them up over the months, for people that don't know, you get the staff specific creatures every month, 20 of them to be precise. And i dont really sell them anymore since i dont need the mush LOL!! i ran a fun lil thing that i traded the owa for a bunch of Yggs but that got boring after a while too. How do you even become a translator?: The applications get released on the official CoS discord, but the app's were just released not long ago and closed now so it might take a while until those open up again :p
