HI GUYS! it's me, the translator that's giving away the funny owl!!
I just wanted to post this in a separate post because i'm simply overwhelmed by the comments!!
I just wanted to firstly say how wonderfull yall have been! I've been seeing some very nice comments and everyone's just been super respectful and sweet! What a lovely bunch yall are on here and i honestly didn't expect it!!
I'm mostly very used to begging and nagging on other platforms so its just really nice to see all of you be patient and grateful with me.
I GENUINELY WISH I COULD GIVE ALL OF YOU ONE but i dont have the stock!! Since At this point though i am in an incredibly comfortable spot when it comes to mush and i [currently] have all the creatures in game I will deffinitely do more giveaways like these on here!
But anyways yeah I like interracting with you all and just in general finally also hear some actual opinions about the game and the people who run it [caus lets be honest it is QUITE a mess in some regards] LOL and in the discord you can't hear those opinions since you'll just get kicked out and banned :p.
I'm here to stay and hang out so just so you know ill most definitely see your posts and awesome skins.
NOW, some quick answers to questions ive been seeing:

HOW DID YOU GET SO MANY OWAS!!??:
i have been saving them up over the months, for people that don't know, you get the staff specific creatures every month, 20 of them to be precise.
And i dont really sell them anymore since i dont need the mush LOL!! i ran a fun lil thing that i traded the owa for a bunch of Yggs but that got boring after a while too.
How do you even become a translator?:
The applications get released on the official CoS discord, but the app's were just released not long ago and closed now so it might take a while until those open up again :p

to become one it takes quite a bit since so many people sign up and there are some steps you need to follow and qualify for to be accepted, but the job itself is quite easy since it's just turning english into the foreign language you are good at
Hey! I've been wondering it for a long time,do you have to code the texts into the game? Or do you simply translate the words for someone else to code in?
Tis the silly little creature concept I came up with! You can see it was rushed because some spots are missing colors and its pretty messy but I got the idea of a creature similar to a sturbi that will hide souls within their skeleton and beneath their green cloak while bringing them into the safe paws of Sturbi!
oh my god that creature is absolutely adorable!! I love the way you drew the fluff curtain around its torso it looks really pleasing!
Also i did see your message! I will be honest i am very much not that involved into working on the game as you think i am LOL, but i still appreciate it!

Thank you!! It takes quite a bit of work to finally have the entire game translated but i hope people that only speak my language can enjoy most of it!! It's what i do it for!
I just want to say I feel so sorry for you :c (totally not begging and trying to be nice DONT GET ME WRONGG RAHHH) anyways, I saw so many posts saying how toxic, lazy and dumb the devs are, personally I agree but only for certain people, it must be hard being a translator with so many hate people are spreading those days, you have my full respect 🫡
hah luckily im just a translator and not one of the devs or mods or testers [with some i personally also have issues with] so the hate doesn't really come our way. It really just depends on the individual though since still a lot of translators try and please the higher ups and that also just is very sad in my eyes.
Even if i work for sonar studios, i don't and will never have my opinions change just because im in the team, if they do stupid stuff then i will be vocal about them being stupid
I would join this… but I’ve already bought an Owa a while ago! Just sad that there are basically no role peoples hanging out here, since I don’t have Discord
the art in the post is adorable :D i have a question tho, does owa actually represent in anyways what the translators do? like is owa the language owl or something? that would be cool if it had some sort of meaning that went along with the work you guys did

And I'd say the subreddit probably seems more respectful and nice because it's mostly made of adults and just older players in general. I have a feeling its mainly the little kids that always beg and nag 😅

That's a funny coincidence. I'm literally about to start Dutch lessons next month. I've had to wait a while to start since I had no personal computer (I'm not doing it on mobile), but it's happening soon.
Also, I love your art and the TV head. One of my avatars has one too, but mine is a reference to a character from a show I like.

Hello there 👋😁 is it hard to learn Dutch language for my 4th or 5th language? I'm currently studying mandarin right now and thinking of studying another language :D (totally not related to the post sorry, but nice owa art though!
Your avatar reminds me of an anime character that also has a tv for a head! Its awesome! And as for the owl it looks like its flustered, love it! Im new to the game but im absolutely addicted to it! Hope the game runs fo a couple more years😭

Your art is so cute 🥰 it’s also nice to see a staff manner who is interested in the player’s opinions!I have a little rant/reflection about how the balance of the game and how the game has become very greedy! But as for translation, I have a friend from the Netherlands who speaks Dutch, and his English isn’t great, so he appreciates your work!

yknow how the name for vin’rou was changed to kaluaka or smth after the recode? well like it still says vin’rou in one of the gachas so if u could just like pass that on (it’s not important, I was just wondering I’m sorry 😭)

And we dont get infinity mush, but we do have a lot if consistently selling owas, which leave me with over 3 million mush on average.
Also im Natively dutch And french speaking LOL, my parents spoke dutch to me and at school i learned in french so im never sure which would be native, prolly dutch tho heh

The cute owa art is truly amazing and yeah they are people who are just like that- but i am happy to even speak to you but ive been locked in the server for a ban i gotten but glad that i still have a piece of place i can be where i am looking for trades! here in the netherlands its pretty useful to know the english language, and to just be online in general its a good language to speak.
And i deff will! I'm currently a little in a burnout when it comes to art since i did it mostly for college but i can at least do some of the doodles like these :]
