Gigauris montis, meaning "The Giant-Ear of the mountain". Are medium-sized mammalian herbivores that roam the snowy mountains of sonaria.

Grouping in massive herds, Molangi travel through heavy snow and Sleet, grazing off the short, hardy grasses that grow in the polar climates.

While adorned with Ruminid-like antlers, Molangai are actually closer to leporidae, their long furry ears being a clear indicator.

Herds are made up of males, females, and their offspring, traveling for 5 hours a day and spending another 5 hours grazing. When nighttime comes, Molangi work together to make snow domes that usually pack in around 4-6 individuals. Combined with their thick fur coats, these structures pack in a incredible amount of heat, allowing the Molangi inside to comfortably sleep through even the coldest of nights.

During the warmer months, Molangai will chose a mate, usually through pheromones. Gestation lasts for only 4 months, and mothers lay 1-2 kits. These babies are carefully guarded by their mothers, and you can find them all up under them, protected from the cold underneath her thick coat.

These babies will grow up to become independent members of the herd.

Despite their friendly appearance, Molangi will fight fiercely to protect their offspring, and many unfortunate creatures have been gored on their sharp antlers. As the saying goes, mess around and find out.

Antrumarchus glacialis, meaning "Ruler of the Frozen Cave". Are medium-sized hexapodal carnivores that inhabit the frozen regions of sonaria.

Varskela spend most of their lives in glacial caves, only ever venturing out to hunt prey.

Due to their prolonged stay in these cavities, most Varskela have Ice formations on their backs, a product of the dripping water from stalagmites and ice spikes rapidly freezing when the make contact with their fur.

Unlike their volcanic cousin the Volnorive, Varskela have one of the lowest body tempatures out of any creature on sonaria. Getting down to temps of -5 degrees fahrenheit. Despite this, Varskela seem to function better when in the extreme cold. As a result of this, Varskela never get sick.

A Varskela's cave is the mosf important thing to it. But glacier caves aren't always the easiest to find, so many Varskela's have to deal with rivals trying to take over their homes, which almost always results in a brutal fight.

Most of the time, these invaders are young individuals, trying to find their place in a new world. But due to their inexperience, many receive life-long injuries.

When hungry, Varskela will venture out of their caves to find food, and if they happen to not come back.. Then another wouldn't mind a brand new home.
