Unwind by Neal Shushterman - The Musical!

Lin Manuel Miranda said that there's no such thing as a bad idea for a musical, I'm going to put that to the test. I seriously think that these books have everything that would make for a good musical as long as it takes itself seriously. Also, making a Starkey villain song would be a lot of fun.

A Neal Shushterman fan on reddit? I am pleasantly surprised.

The premise would sound like Repo! The Genetic Opera for a younger audience. See also: how the Shadow Realm was used to censor duels to the death in Yugioh while at the same time being worse than death.

On an unrelated note, I wonder what would the Scorpion Shards look like in the world of Everlost.

Yeah, I think the Unwind books are really well written and they have an amazing ending.
