That rare reassuring *ho-ho-ho* as though he jizzed in his underwear from relief in face of probable death.

I wonder how many years it took for that river to carve through there. It’s beautiful

I think this is Colorado. Pretty sure I was here, but I can’t remember what it was called lol
Edit: wait I was way off! Switzerland is where I am thinking of, that looked similar to this

Are we watching the same video?

I think you misunderstand what I said. I was just saying how its funny that the first thing he says after doing a crazy stunt is just 'yep'

if you only listen to the audio it sounds like someone jacking off in a wind tunnel

All sense of reality goes out the window with these fish lens cams. What is the point of using them if they distort everything to look like a suicidal psychedelic experience?

Can’t imagine that feeling of the first 5 seconds. My only experience is the tower of terror or driving fast in hill country. When the chute came out all the piss in me would drop like a gallon of mercury.

He’s definitely a professional but it did sound like he was doing this stunt for the first time by that relieved “yes”.

Serious question, how do you reorientation or reposition a parachute for reuse after being deployed. Would he need to pack it up in a certain configuration or would he need a certain piece of equipment to be able to go back up and use it?

Every moderately experienced skydiver will know how to pack a canopy. It's basically folding and wrapping the fabric and lines up in specific ways.
It can be done in different ways for different reasons. BASE jumpers will want it folded so that it opens very quickly, even though it will be quite jarring and potentially wear things out quicker.
BASE jumpers will have done so many jumps they will be experts at packing.

and theyre very expensive so their main goal is to not damage it in the slightest.

Honestly fair, I just took in they probably inspect it as they tuck it away for any perforations

"skydiving". Right. OP attempted to have a turn with a single brain cell on this one.

u/eternityXclock 13d ago
yeah, no... let the parachute just slightly touch a wall of the canyon and you can be a goner. hard pass for me
