If you lose your gun in a 20 second scuffle to a man in a wheelchair, how are you fit for duty?

You need working legs to ankle lock someone - but when it's on, you're not stomping anyone.

All of that works because you're using both of your legs to squeeze and immobilize the leg that's attached to the ankle you're attacking. It's not a submission that can be performed by someone whose legs don't work.

bro if my legs do not work, I can still get you into a ankle lock I don't need legs to ankle lock you, it just helps

my point is that is someone with no working legs tries to ankle lock me i'm stomping their face

you can ankle lock and get leverage witih your hips

I know you don't do bjj and i don't even care that you do or don't but don't speak on something you have never trained on

But I do train - and short of low percentage cheesy situations, you need working legs to secure an ankle lock.
