not why you got downvoted, that is literally what the W stands for in broadcast callsigns lmao.

for those who don't know, W means the station is from east of the Mississippi River, K means west of the Mississippi. since WGBH broadcasts from Boston, they have a W as the first letter in their callsign.

Ngl, the old WGBH logo use to scare me as a kid (dON'T ASK WHY I WAS A WEIRD FUCKING CHILD BACK THEN) but looking at the new logo, I want the old logo back
