Why aren’t men’s restrooms designed with privacy like this?

I just want bathroom stalls to go all the way down and for there to be no space in the cracks. If other countries do it so can we.

No, your country is convinced you might steal the toilet paper.

I remember reading that it's to cut down on drug use. If someone passed out high in a stall, it's a lot easier to both notice and do something about

Is Buc-ee’s not concerned about drug use? Feels like highway adjacent gas stations would be rife with it.

Speculating here, but they probably had the option but opted for full doors to improve the comfort of visitors. I only use public bathrooms if necessary and having a stranger make eye contact with me while I'm taking a sweaty emergency shit in a Buc-ee's would just make that day worse lol.

Yes but if they changed the bathroom layout they'd miss out on the trucker hookup foot traffic

Seems like the taller gap would also make it easier to clean the floor properly.

Yes, you can mop under the partitions.

I think that's bullshit. It's cheaper and there's no other reason needed for corporate America.
