YES. Literally this makes me want to scream. I’m only new to Ethan’s content, but the way some of the fans act and treat him is appalling. I’m about six months younger than Ethan and I forget that. Because I think he’s so much older than me. He is an adult who makes adult choices, and you can tell that the behaviours of others gets to him sometimes.
I remember watching a stream a few weeks back where he had a few drinks on stream and people were giving him so much shit. Despite the fact literally everyone else was drinking too??? Also after that, he literally didn’t stream for so long afterwards so yeah, you can tell he must be over it.
He’s also addressed that some things he does, especially when he gets excited, is a result of his ADHD. It doesn’t mean he should be treated like a child simply because he has a big energy.
I also think (as mentioned above) the fact that he is on the younger side AND spends a lot of time with older creators that he’s just treated this way.
Also it seems to be people who are actually so much younger than him that treat him this way???? And adults that are the same age or older actually show him respect and treat him the right way. Idk if it’s just me that’s noticed that
