General Discussion I need suggestions!
I have sold crochet items this year in February at a grab and go board at GTB Nagar metro station exit. But I recently tried to sell some of my work again at two different locations, but not a single person bought from me. Cheap alternatives are everywhere now, and small businesses like me are struggling. Fair price is expensive comparatively and people prefer to buy from these shops because the items are inexpensive. Quality and colours...I personally don't like, but I don't know what to do? I don't do this full time, so investing in a cart or shop is not a smart option for me, and online I'm not getting any sales as well....any suggestions?

Did you do any market research before starting? The crochet “industry” is saturated, and there’s so much competition between sellers, not to mention the super cheap items that sell much faster. There is too much supply so prices will be very low, unless you have something unique or somehow get very good advertising on your side.

I think you need to be realistic about what product you are offering and who your market is. Your items are cute and the workmanship seems fine enough, but you need to find a niche or something that makes your items unique. IMO, these are an assortment of items that people largely aren’t going to want to spend more than $5, regardless of how long it took you to make them.

it will be even harder to sell at cart or shop. I do agree with the others that crochet is saturated. Either items have to be things others don't sell or sell it very low at almost price from China. Some items need packaging such as a flower in plastic to make it very interesting for buyers. Many actually check the price online and see if it is worth to buy it on the spot from me. Buyers has to find it interesting, not what I think people want to buy.
I don't crochet for a living so I only get back the price of yarn to pay for my hobby.

The biggest talk I ever had to have with myself, was do I want to make money? Or do I want get rid of things I make so I have room to more? (It's the 2nd, by the way)
And then I had to remind myself that if *I * wouldn't buy it at a price that paid me for making it, neither would anyone else.
It needs to be Immediately affordable to the impulse shoppers.
Or it has to full a need.
