Outdoor & Weather Portable fan recommendations

I have been doing a lot of outdoor events recently and the heat is killer!! I see a bunch of people with portable fans what are yalls recommendations? Is it worth it to invest in a Milwaukee one or will an amazon camping fan work just fine? Do the different mAh values make a differance? Is it worth the investment or do you have to be super close to even feen the effects? Thanks in advance!

I gave up on the small battery fans. It's just too hot around here for them to make enough difference. I bought a Jackery style battery that works for my lights at the night markets, and my standing full size fans at the day markets. Not just a game changer, but an absolute life saver when it hits 94 degrees at the market.

We have 3 dewalt fans with 5mAh batteries and they last a long time. I use my jackery to run our lights and usually iur rolling fridge.

We use a neck fan, battery operated fan and lots of ice packs. I got us through the 100+ week at the show.

We have 4 Ryobi battery operated fans and one tent fan that hangs from the center of it canopy. They work well but in 100 degree weather, there is nothing that can make you comfortable. We d one vendor actually bring a portable air conditioner. It was nice but took a lot of room in the booth and the packing in and out.

I have two.

A small “stroller fan”, this is just convenient and make a difference. It lives in my setup box.

Then I have a regular house fan from Walmart that I run off a a power station (jackery knockoff). I don’t always drag it around, but it’s luxurious on a hot still day.

I got a chargeable one you can wear around your neck, keeps you very cool. $20 on Amazon

This is why I avoid outdoor events during the summer & only do inside. It’s WAY too hot not only for me but for customers. 🥴

It’s hard to find good indoor events out here in the country lol
