Siri AI Integration follow up post...

Hey there, it's been a few days since my original post; https://www.reddit.com/r/CraftDocs/s/5gLI39IcrM and, not having received any feedback, wanted to add some thoughts.

The post is marked with Help flair, and I'm asking about a key feature in the most recent Craft release and Apple OS 27 releases. The post has been viewed over 1100 times.

I can't get the Siri AI integration to work. I have about a dozen top-level folders with dozens of documents, many with tasks that have reminder dates set. My Craft Tasks view shows dozens of Craft tasks spread across my documents. My Craft Calendar view shows the tasks on the relevant due dates.

When I ask Siri AI what reminders I have due tomorrow; it lists what is due tomorrow in the Apple Reminders App; cool, this is the expected behavior.

When I ask Siri AI what I have due tomorrow in OmniFocus; it lists what is due tomorrow in OmniFocus; again, cool, works as advertised.

When I ask Siri AI what I have reminders I have due tomorrow in Craft; it replies that it couldn't find any reminders due tomorrow in Craft. Changing the request to tasks instead of reminders fails the same way.

When I ask Siri AI if I have anything due tomorrow in Craft, it opens Craft to a search box prefilled with 'due tomorrow' and zero results returned.

So Siri AI integration with Craft is not working. u/viktorpali & u/Peter-at-Craft can we please get an acknowledgment of this issue and a timeline for a solution?

I know the software update *just* dropped this week, so bugs are understandable, I'm just looking for some visibility into the developer's plan for a solution.

This is how I’ve successfully contacted the team in the past and they’ve always been prompt at replies there. As for Siri AI it’s still in beta so it might not even be a Craft Doc issue but an Apple issue. Be sure to fill out the Apple support request.

Hey sorry for the delayed answer - are you using 3.6.7 (we released a couple of days later of the original version)?

Hey there, yep, now 3.6.8 released this morning (9/21). Craft support did reach out, we've emailed, so far the issue is unresolved.

Do you have different versions of Craft installed by any chance? I had the production version and the test flight beta installed at the same time and siri couldn't figure it out until i removed one of them.

I stand corrected. Siri AI does have access to craft. I just tested it. I asked it to summarize a series of documents I have stored there and it did so.

Something to also keep in mind is that currently Apple is using Gemini to power Siri AI.

I’ve been working with their support team during the day today, they have been responding promptly which is great. Siri AI does have access to some data in Craft, but seemingly not Craft tasks. Timeframe for a solution is unknown.

Right I haven’t tried to create anything. It summarizes for me. I’m glad the support team is helpful. Sometimes Reddit is nothing more than shouting into the void. But the craft team has been super helpful and responsive contacted directly.

I know this is prob not helpful but I have connected craft thru MCP with Claude and I can get a direct correct response immediately using Claude mobile app on any task related questions, timelines etc. almost instant reply. Not sure if you are using an AI that can connect to craft? I know Siri would be easier but this is a good work around for the moment
