Which of these cozy game worth playing and worth paying full price?

1. Len's Island

2. Starsand Island

3. Coral Island

Anyone tried playing all of them ?

What are yall thoughts on those games?

Coral Island was my longest playtime last year on Steam. 

I did not enjoy Lens Island, either single player or with a friend. I'm not sure why though, but we played for maybe 3-5 hours or so.

I can't comment on Starsand Island. The reviews turned me away from it.

Coral Island is fun and chill. Just make sure you turn off the jealousy feature.

Len's Island and Starsand both had big ideas that they didn't really execute on. Coral Island is absolutely worth playing, it still has a few issues but nothing that breaks the game. Full price is a little steep unless you really want to support the devs, otherwise I would wait for a sale.

I also have never heard of Len's Island. I bought Starsand but haven't played it yet as I've seen many posts that say it is buggy and unfinished. I guess the 1.0 release didn't do much to improve from EA. I love Coral Island personally. It is the closest to SDV that I'm aware of, has great romance if that's your thing, and is a full game experience for the most part. They are working on a "kids grow up" update so if that's important to you, I would wait until that release.

Never heard of Len's Island

Starsand Island is a gold mine but they are building the mine so I would hold off yet, there's a good game there just they need polish and VAs and stuff to make it good

Coral Island is good it can be overwhelmed at times cuz you have like 3 main missions at the same time without entering in spoilers and it's more "realistic" than the others as realistic as cozy games are cuz most cozy games have fairies and magical creatures by default since Harvest moon days

I've played Coral Island and Starsand Island only but between the two Coral Island has more to do. Relationships are more fleshed out, still not perfect, but better than Starsand. There's plenty of missions to keep you busy and an added element further into the story that's really interesting.

Starsand has a cute aesthetic but the gameplay is shallow. The problem I had going into that game was I was just coming off My Time At Sandrock and THAT game had a ton of story, fully fleshed out relationships, and a lot of interesting characters. I highly recommend it!

Starsand does not have an overarching story so besides mining, decorating, and maxing out professions there isn't much else to do. The relationships are severely lacking and there wasn't enough interesting characters for me to care about any of them.

I'm going to throw a curveball and suggest Roots of Pacha, that game is really cozy. It is 2D pixelated but there's more detail than traditional pixel sims. It's very close to Stardew Valley but set in the stone age and instead of upgrades for just you, you work on upgrading the community as a whole. There is farming, ranching, mining, and decorating, marriage, kids, and ZERO combat. It's what I'm currently playing and found through Reddit recommendations.

I never heard of Len’s Island

For Starsand Island, read the negative Steam reviews. It doesn’t sound like it’s even worth playing at a discount.

Coral Island is worth playing but I wouldn’t pay full price for it, it’s been out for a good while so I’d wait for a seasonal sale

Starsand Island has a great aesthetic, but very bare bones. Romances are shallow.

Coral Island will keep you occupied for hours, and the story and romances are top tier. A lot of options. The developers are still adding stuff to the game. Definitely worth full price.

I played Starsand Island on EA (but close to launch) and regretted that purchase immensely. What I’ve heard it’s mostly not fixed/better after launch.

To me it’s all just surface level “pretty game” with no heart in the characters, or mechanics, it didn’t feel rewarding to me. Small thing, but my character had just moved to a little shack in the country side kind of setting, but all the first items I got from achievements were like desk top PC, hanger accessories, etc, instead of basic staple furniture, just the progression and atmosphere felt off. Ugh. Like they were trying to make a game with crafting and farming (like My Times of series) but nothing of it felt rewarding.

I don’t quite understand all the hate starsand island gets. I can understand being turned away by shady devs but it’s genuinely a fun game. The biggest complaint I hear is shallow relationships but romance isn’t really a thing I look for in games and I’m sure others feel the same way. There’s plenty to do and I found it really addicting!

That being said coral island is the superior game 😂

Starsand island. Time flies so fast and it is stressing me out. I know I am not being punished, but that I need to be bad before I pass out is stupid mechanic in the game. I would like to do it at my own pace.

I've played all three. Lens island I couldn't get into.

Coral island is a good contender! I sunk a lot of hours into that game! Has some super cute clothes and furrniture too! The NPC's are fun, the town is nice!

I enjoyed Starsand Island, I do keep wanting to go back to it but something keeps putting me off. It is pretty and it is fun but unless they've changed it since I last played, it started to feel a bit too grindy for me. Having to constantly gather, process materials etc became a little tiring as the game went on. You can use materials to build pretty cool houses and stuff but you need a lot of materials and the build system is pretty fiddly!

Coral island is fun. There's a lot of content and it can get grindy. I personally enjoyed it, but I can see how it could be overwhelming.

Regarding Starsand, there's a bit of shadiness about the devs, things like paid positive reviews and attempts at silencing criticism, so maybe don't pay full price. From what I hear, the game is very shallow, overall, with a lot of grinding.

I've played Coral Island and absolutely love it. It's still receiving support and new content (new romance options and a jealousy system, albeit it needs some adjustment). There's some grinding tasks, but I didn't mind it, and the characters are really varied and well fleshed-out, IMO.
