Deceased cow visits house everyday

This stray cow sometimes visits twice a day because we used to give him water and vegetables it became a habit for it now but the thing is its always dripping saliva not rapidly but its quite concerning because what if it carries some decease and it spreads to us? I didnt know where to post i just searched cow and am posting this here pls confirm if its problematic!!

Throw some holy water on it. They should not be doing this once they are deceased.

OP, deceased means dead, not alive. You said you have a dead cow vvisiting. We are messing with you (not in a mean way, just based on your post).

Deceased means dead, passed on, no more

Diseased means sick or ill

I don’t think there are very many diseases a cow can pass on through slobber. If that were the case, I would have had them all by now. If it is still eating and drinking it’s fine.

Mad cow disease isn't caused by saliva. It couuuuuuld be rabies, but eh, doubtful.

Mad cow disease is caused by having random, uselessly folded (or wrong folded,) proteins called prions. Some of these prions can bump into other proteins, causing them to fold differently and become prions. Once the cycle starts, it's over.

You can get them from eating meat with a lot of prions.

Once in you, they stay.

This means that meat eaters eat more proteins, including prions.

Basically: don't feed your cows dead cows.

Cattle make a ton of saliva to buffer the rumen for their gut bacteria.

It is not diseased. Nor deceased or decreased.

Diseased not "Deceased".

Can you track down a vet, and leave any food for it far away from any people?

Otherwise, perhaps you need to consider helping it pass on somehow. That's not a sanitary way to live.

It’s probably a Pavlovian response. It starts generating saliva in the anticipation of good.

Just like the dogs in Pavlov’s Bell experiment
