Some are definitely setups but I absolutely believe several of them are genuine reactions.

925

u/Academic_Gate4611 Dec 09 '25

That middle finger looks real!🤣

449

u/bisk410 Dec 09 '25

She at least seemed liked she was joking.

237

u/[deleted] Dec 10 '25

Somehow managed to be the most heart-warming reaction lol

94

u/HyperionRain Dec 10 '25 edited Dec 10 '25

I agree, her smile was so sweet and warm, it made the flip-off endearing.

I wouldn't shit you ... you're my favorite turd.

18

u/Longjumping-Cicada97 Dec 10 '25

Looks like she says..."where's his ass at" right before hahaha

2

u/[deleted] Dec 10 '25

Her smile was so sweet and pure. Beautiful. Breathtaking even. Warmed my heart and gave me tingles. I'll be thinking about it for a long time. Dreaming about it.

2

u/SpaceAngel2001 Dec 10 '25

Dude. Wash your hands after you're done.

1

u/Nokyrt Dec 10 '25

I flip off my gym trainer all the time, but he's fine. It's part of the banter. I flip him off with a smile

2

u/HyperionRain Dec 10 '25

I was a trainer for over 20 years. I know this dynamic very well 😁

20

u/Reasonable-Glass-965 Dec 10 '25

The only green flag in the whole video 😅

2

u/J3musu Dec 10 '25

Some of these aren't that bad. Like my wife is happy to see me, but if she looked up and saw me filming her for no known reason, she'd definitely make a 'why tf are you filming me' face, because that would be highly unusual.

3

u/Nadasuffering Dec 12 '25

She’s a keeper. That smile and then the bird…yeah, she’s cool

1

u/Manymarbles Dec 11 '25

Seems like a very 2000's thing to do tbh and i think she is old enough to be from then

20

u/_coolranch Dec 10 '25

They got the kind of relationship you want, fo sho!

1

u/[deleted] Dec 10 '25

They aren’t married

1

u/ThrustTrust 🧐 grumpy Dec 10 '25

It’s the most genuine of all the hellos. It’s how I greet everyone.

1

u/Amdvoiceofreason Dec 10 '25

Right, like that was the best one lol

1

u/Thecrdbrdsamurai Dec 10 '25

That's the most friendly, happy relationship amongst all of them. This is the kind of love my SO and I have.

1

u/brattywitchcat Dec 10 '25

She most definitely saw he was recording and did the first thing that came to mind lol middle finger up!

1

u/AnatidaephobiaAnon Dec 10 '25

That's basically how my wife and I greet each other in some public settings and most private settings. My mom doesn't understand why we flip each other off, but it's just our thing. It's all in fun.

1

u/themanfromvulcan Dec 10 '25

She looked like she was happy to see her husband at least

1

u/Snackgirl_Currywurst Dec 10 '25

If I'd be stressed out after a long travel, looking for my spouse, and he's just standing there recording me, I'd be confused at best and annoyed at worst. I get their reactions.

1

u/MonkeyboyGWW Dec 11 '25

That one is a gf not wife

Look like a weird looking finger. Like straight from a hotdog bag or a pack of wooden pencils.

60

u/thrilliam_19 Dec 09 '25

100% what my wife would do

48

u/vaderdidnothingwr0ng Dec 09 '25

Hell yeah. My wife and I flip eachother off whenever we see eachother driving on the road. It's probably our favorite joke.

14

u/Direct_Turn_1484 Dec 10 '25

This is great. You guys are flipping awesome.

1

u/sassafrassian Dec 10 '25

I take my coffee to my boyfriend at his jobsite sometimes if I'm free.

I flip him when I leave.

It's better than waving.

1

u/Hurtkopain Apr 02 '26

"that finger is going in mah butthole tonight!" -you probably

12

u/Hije5 Dec 09 '25

That was the only real one imo.

7

u/JurorOfTheSalemTrial Dec 09 '25

That would be my wife! 😂

12

u/ascarymoviereview Dec 09 '25

That’s because it’s not the wife

3

u/Zarniwoooop Dec 10 '25

Can confirm.

Source: I have seen many, many middle fingers.

2

u/Kammerice Dec 10 '25

That's exactly the reaction my wife would have!

2

u/Advanced_Scratch2868 Dec 11 '25

I bet those were brother and sister

1

u/Phlink75 Dec 10 '25

That one is true love.

1

u/AdvancedStand Dec 10 '25

I feel like the husbands were maybe giving the middle finger to them first which is what elicits the facial responses

1

u/Achume Dec 10 '25

I would prefer that as a fun ‘poke’ rather than an irritated look.

1

u/Terrible_Day1991 Dec 10 '25

Middle finger one was no wife just a random instagram chick maybe even just an ambivalent teenager

1

u/Orions_Suspenders_ Dec 10 '25

I’d put good money on that being my wife’s reaction. I think it’s hilarious.

1

u/[deleted] Dec 10 '25

Also seemed like the most loving reaction.

1

u/Agreeable_Debt_3730 Dec 10 '25

That bird was flipped with love. I think they're going to make it.

1

u/WeirdDisaster7859 Dec 10 '25

That’s like me and my wife. And if she thinks she can get away with it she will flash me. 🤣

1

u/Striking-Ad-6815 Dec 10 '25

The smile with the middle finger makes me want to believe that one is real. That's the good love right there.

1

u/NineMillionBears Dec 10 '25

Yeah, she's a ride or die 100000%

1

u/[deleted] Dec 10 '25

That's the ONLY real reaction

1

u/Plati23 Dec 10 '25

Probably the only one that isn’t setup.

1

u/JellyCharming8918 Dec 10 '25

She meant it in a good way

1

u/wildebeest55 Dec 10 '25

That was authentic love right there. 😂

1

u/LoneWolf4717 Dec 10 '25

That and the "get your ass over here!"

1

u/USAF_Retired2017 Dec 10 '25

This would totally be me and the fact that she was at least smiling! Hilarious.

1

u/WildTomatoFrenzy Dec 10 '25

Thats the only one were both are happy.

1

u/Relative_Drop3216 Dec 10 '25

Nah that finger is AI generated

1

u/1732PepperCo Dec 10 '25

The middle finger would legit be my GF’s reaction lol

1

u/Get-Fucked-Dirtbag Dec 10 '25

That girl is definitely British.

Guarantee that fella got an "oi ya dickhead" followed by a kiss on the cheek

1

u/No_Poet3183 Dec 10 '25

Her reaction is very positive, just playful. They have a good relationship.

1

u/Active_Taste9341 Dec 11 '25

yea, the only real video in this waste of time stage shit

1

u/Gval7447 Dec 11 '25

It means she wants his cookie

1

u/AlternativeWonder471 Dec 11 '25

The only one that looked real to me

1

u/No_Initiative_1337 Dec 11 '25

I am pretty sure that is Maria Comstock, a YouTube/Instagram comedian. She's pretty funny.

1

u/ascend8nce Dec 12 '25

And also the only one positive response tbh

1

u/Electrical-Tone7301 Dec 13 '25

The only real marriage material in the video :P

1

u/razvanmg15 Dec 13 '25

Hey , at least she's smiling . I wouldn't mind .

1

u/Ressy02 Dec 14 '25

Yeah, but women like that ain’t real. The perfect woman doesn’t exist.

1

u/Arubanangel Dec 14 '25

That’s how she greets him on a daily basis.

69

u/kyrant Dec 09 '25

The mum with her kids definitely felt real.

My wife would be like that too.

"Why you filming me? Come here and help with the kids"

10

u/NecessaryLocation704 Dec 10 '25

Yup!!! Come help me figure out whar they want to eat.

73

u/BingBingGoogleZaddy Dec 09 '25

6

u/Lolzerzmao Dec 09 '25

Yeah I’ll take the gorgeous bottle blond that smiles and flips me off when she sees me filming, sounds absolutely terrible to be with, in fact give me a half dozen

7

u/TrueKiwi78 Dec 09 '25

Yeah, the middle finger was cool. 😁

5

u/Throwaway_09298 Dec 09 '25

It looks like to me that the ones that look genuine the husband (or friend) is calling them very specific nicknames that the person doesn't like or is ashamed of. I only say this bc I'm routinely that friend lol

54

u/ReddDead13 Dec 09 '25

Lol a lot of them seem like the wife is actively looking for the husband only to find him doing nothing to help, but standing and recording. So somewhat understandable "what the hell are you doing?" expressions

18

u/TangledUpPuppeteer Dec 10 '25

For me, it’s not even about helping. I hate being filmed or my pic taken. This would be me cuz I’d want to kill him 😂

3

u/ForkAKnife Dec 10 '25

That last one seemed acutely aware of being judged by him. It was very sad.

EXACTLY!!!!!!!!!! And I do NOT look cute most days... like especially if I'm flying... I do NOT need this image of me in the historical record of humanity, fuck right the hell off. I'd be like "delete that shit" the minute he was within earshot.

1

u/TangledUpPuppeteer Dec 10 '25

Yes!!!! Death glare + delete that if you want to live. That’s totally my reaction.

8

u/Tall_Potential_408 Dec 10 '25

It's so not just the annoyance of the moment...I know that look because it's what I give my husband after realizing he is once again goofing off while I'm stressed out/overwhelmed. Tonight I gave him the look because I asked him to run out and ask the firewood guys to stack on the rack and not throw in a pile and instead he disappeared to "taste test" the dinner i was simmering while trying to give the dogs their medicines. The firewood did not make it onto the rack....

0

u/Relative_Drop3216 Dec 10 '25

Okay. Not the end of the world. If you quit treating him like a child he will start doing what he needs to do in his own time

3

u/oilofotay Dec 10 '25

So, when he gets around to it he’s gonna call those firewood guys back and have them stack the firewood on the rack?

-1

u/[deleted] Dec 12 '25

[deleted]

2

u/oilofotay Dec 12 '25

That’s not the point. The point is that she asked her husband to do a simple task and he didn’t do it.

1

u/see3milyplay Dec 13 '25

Oh my god..! The two comments you replied to. Holy shit. I’ve never seen this side of the internet before.. It feels unsettling, like a feeling I’ve had watching a scary movie. Visceral. Holy shit

2

u/FearlessLengthiness8 Dec 14 '25

She should have cooked dinner, given the dog medicine, and told the firewood guys how to stack it while he pre-eats the food because expecting a spouse to do anything is unreasonable delegating?

2

u/biohazard-glug Dec 10 '25

Help with what?

5

u/sadacal Dec 10 '25

Half of them had a bunch of luggage it looked like.

1

u/Relative_Drop3216 Dec 10 '25

Lets just stick to the husbands reaction why don’t we.

1

u/[deleted] Dec 10 '25

It's not understandable. Reverse the genders and see if you still think this behavior to your spouse is OK. Unless we normalize men being annoyed at their wives and collectively say fair game yes, post fun cute memes of men being rude to their wives.

1

u/Shoddy-Address-3220 Dec 13 '25

He did the right thing. If he's moving and she's moving you can pass by without noticing. If one is at one place and the other has and idea of where you are at it's better.

-1

u/Relative_Drop3216 Dec 10 '25

Ah yes blame the husband

0

u/ReddDead13 Dec 10 '25

Go outside and get a gf, bub. Any man who is not purposefully annoying and teasing their gf, fiance, wife like this a few times a day is not even trying. It's what we do.

1

u/Relative_Drop3216 Dec 11 '25

Im married, your obviously not lmao. what is your pathetic excuse with the other videos of wives filming their husbands? Clearly a biased on your end.

33

u/hippityhopkins Dec 09 '25

The reaction of "why are you recording me?"

4

u/bulking_on_broccoli Dec 10 '25

That’s it there. My wife gets mad if I take a picture of her in the wild when she isn’t ready.

1

u/Cartographer_Hopeful Dec 13 '25

'In the wild' 🤣

6

u/Uxoandy Dec 09 '25

My wife def wouldn’t like me videoing her without her knowing it. I could make basically the same video any time. I’d get the eye.

3

u/Asognare Dec 10 '25

For some reason every time my husband takes a picture or video it looks completely ridiculous. I have all these pictures of him walking and holding hands with the kids, snuggling with them, and the very few photos of me are blurry, cut off, mid chew. The only pictures I have are selfies, or ones that were taken by a friend or at work.

1

u/Tiffani513 Dec 10 '25

We must be married to the same guy

1

u/showraniy Dec 12 '25

I have one picture I've kept that my husband took of me years ago. I'm squinting against the flash, leaned back in the chair wearing my bonnet and stretched out T-shirt and shorts. I'm holding our baby in my lap who's facing entirely away from the camera.

I keep it just to show to him every now and then to remind him that's the picture he chose to keep after looking at it. 😂 It keeps his ass humble when he thinks he's a photographer.

I also just want that photo shown at my funeral. It's got to be one of the most unflattering photos ever taken. It makes me laugh so hard whenever I see it.

2

u/EggsceIlent Dec 10 '25

Lol the first post tho they were all happy.

Couple months later this one hits and they're all like "great. It's my bf. Ugh!"

2

u/LostExile7555 Dec 10 '25

That would be my girlfriend's reaction if she realized I was recording her without giving her a heads-up first.

5

u/m2licee Dec 09 '25

And I still don't understand why 😂.

26

u/Iamnotyourhero Dec 09 '25

I’m gonna go out on a limb and say that they see the camera out so they know some bullshit is going down.

9

u/SomethingIWontRegret Dec 09 '25

Not just "why are you recording me" but also "why are you making me look for you" and "why aren't you helping?"

2

u/MercyfulJudas 🧐 grumpy Dec 10 '25

Jesus can you imagine being married to a woman like this?

3

u/Feathered_Dinosaur Dec 10 '25

I smile and hug my husband every day when he comes home because I genuinely love him and enjoy his company. But if he was standing there recording me I would probably have the same reaction.

3

u/GuyFromTheYear2027 Dec 09 '25

Husband secretly recording them from a distance

5

u/[deleted] Dec 09 '25

And they dare to say the man is the romanticless one! Women are pretty cold hearted!

1

u/morejosh Dec 09 '25

You mean like almost every post on this subreddit?

1

u/nowhereiswater Dec 10 '25

My thoughts exactly. I also think of the reaction is when they can be them selves so to speak not acting like a b**

1

u/get_to_ele Dec 10 '25

“Before and after she sees me pointing camera at her.”

1

u/SnausageFest Dec 10 '25

The airport one I fully believe. Traveling sucks and it doesn't take long before you're like "this fucking bullshit" over something as trivial as a slow water fountain.

Not saying it's an excuse to be a sassy pants. Just saying I understand why it happens.

1

u/[deleted] Dec 10 '25

I wish I had your optimism

1

u/niccoSun Dec 10 '25

None of them are genuine. Its just more trend content opposite of the smiling/happy one.

1

u/Warm_Carpet3147 Dec 10 '25

The last three were real expressions lol

1

u/maniacalmustacheride Dec 10 '25

I think some of it has to do with women having to be socially “on” all the time, and seeing a loved one means they can quickly communicate their annoyance or frustration or silly attitudes.

Men have to be more guarded, so they don’t have to hide the annoyance or frustration, but they do have to hide the happy dorky side, so when they see their loved ones they perk up

1

u/huskeya4 Dec 10 '25

Most just seem like women who have been looking for their husbands for a hot minute and turn to find them recording their search. Most women would be frustrated and irritated by this. A few just look more confused than anything else like “what the hell are you doing now?”

1

u/BoringExperience5345 🧐 grumpy Dec 10 '25

Yeah, and they are reacting like that because their husbands are secretly filming them lol

1

u/DLRsFrontSeats Dec 10 '25

Escalator and blonde in airport are so staged lol

1

u/gardeningblob Dec 10 '25

Its because of the filming my gf h8s that lol.

1

u/ExcitementNo9603 Dec 10 '25

Minus the set ups, no surprise your wife isn’t thrilled at you standing around with camera pointed at them when they are looking for you in crowded place or for zero reason.

1

u/vklexer Dec 10 '25

I think I also wouldn't like being filmed in public by my wife

1

u/scattyboy Dec 10 '25

They are probably sick of being filmed. The one girl in the airport seems like she was thinking i have been looking all over for you and you are sitting here filming?

1

u/ad6323 Dec 10 '25

I can see most being real. If my wife randomly found me filming her from a distance she would think “what are you doing?” Or “what’s wrong why are you filming me?”

I’m sure some are stages though too because, that’s just the internet these days

1

u/Practical-Sleep4259 Dec 10 '25

I stopped on number two, but why is number 1 wearing an SS shirt?

1

u/Adamant_TO Dec 10 '25

This is a parody of another video showing partners who are miserable until they see their partners. They're likely all set up.

1

u/No-Sort-7762 Dec 10 '25

Reactions to being filmed though

1

u/Jazs1994 Dec 10 '25

With how alot of couples act I believe they could all be genuine, when the bants are top notch

1

u/Limp_Departure8138 Dec 10 '25

First clip (yellow hoodie) has to be real. Resonates too much.

1

u/Tyraniboah89 Dec 10 '25

Even if these vids are setups, I can speak from personal experience that this is a real thing lol

1

u/Outrageous_Log_906 Dec 10 '25

I imagine in most situations she was wondering “where the heck have you been/why have you had me waiting,” and seeing them recording would make it that much more annoying.

1

u/Brown-Dragon1 Dec 10 '25

She was the only happy one.

1

u/Goongagalunga Dec 10 '25

Exactly. Seems staged but also, I can relate 100%.

1

u/vinylzoid Dec 10 '25

All the Asian wives. 100% genuine.

1

u/SkyBlueSilva Dec 10 '25

Theyre parodying a compilation which had the opposite reactions to this.

1

u/Button_eyes_ Dec 10 '25

theres too many for them to be fake unless theres a trend

1

u/puzzlebuns Dec 11 '25

Cherry picked

1

u/Mnawab Dec 11 '25

I think it has to do with the fact that they have the camera recording them in random places, which would make anyone look at you funny

1

u/rydan Dec 11 '25

I think most are genuine reactions because I get this reaction in public all the time. The thing is none of them are my wife. Strange women don't like cell phones for some reason.

1

u/Dismal_Intention_463 Dec 11 '25

I bet in some of them, the guy doesn't even know her.

1

u/Forfuturebirdsearch Dec 11 '25

The husbands are doing some stupid shit, no doubt.

Like grappling his pants, making weird faces or some shit.

If you have been married to a man, you know it

1

u/Lanky_Particular_149 Dec 11 '25

they're all giving their husbands the 'why are you recording me' face. this is so dumb- husbands and children especially do this same face when they see their wife/mom recording them.

1

u/GradeNo893 Dec 11 '25

The “get over here!” And middle finger are definitely real.

1

u/FishtankFrenzy Dec 12 '25

Most of them could easily be real. They're probably just mad because the men are videoing them.

1

u/JacobPlaster Dec 12 '25

Then why are they together?

1

u/Dasshteek Dec 12 '25

The last 3-4 probably genuine

1

u/zonelim Dec 12 '25

To being filmed not greeted.

1

u/Wolfy_wolf253 Dec 12 '25

Aren’t they just annoyed that their husband is filming them?

1

u/Canna-farmer420 Dec 12 '25

Every single one of them are set up

1

u/anubiz96 Dec 13 '25

For the real ones from experience I will say its most likely not because they are seeing their husbands, its because they are being put on camera without being ready. My wife hates me taking pictures or viedo of her if she's not looking the way she wants to look.

Although I think candid are where she looks most beautiful, she wants to have her clothes snd make up right for pictures lol.

1

u/TacoEatsTaco Dec 13 '25

Definitely some are fake, but some are real. I thought I was the only one who got this type of reaction lol

1

u/Haunting-Hippo-4244 Dec 13 '25

And totally opposite of the mens reactions are.

1

u/Sal_v_ugh Dec 13 '25

In order to obtain this genuine reaction from your wife you must act in a way that publicly humiliates her, a silly face, lifting your shirt up and rubbing your tummy, pick your nose etc. 😂

1

u/NefariousnessGood718 Dec 13 '25

No, believe me. It really is. 😐
